Wow...I didn't realize this was such a young forum. For all you older INTPs, is there a place where you guys hang out that is generally older?

I hang out on college campuses and at home. Well, one college... the one I go to. But I do call young people "whippersnappers". I also notice young people wear less clothes, now.

Ummmm.... work? Oh, you mean AS INTPs? JK!

I'm 59, didn't even know I was INTP until my 30's, then took me 15-20 years to learn more about what that means. Found this place 5 years ago after searching on the web. Between this and http://personalitypage.com/html/INTP.html it's enough. Spending most of my spare time on other hobbies. Honestly I think I just visit here when I'm feeling some need to connect that I can't with other people.

That feeling will change once you're in your 40's.

I'm 21. I study and work in a consulting company where I have to wear formal clothes. I feel like my life is over.
Houellebecq says, in one of his books, that adolescence (14-18) is the only period where you really get to live (before 14 you are too young, after 18 you have to work/study). Considering I pretty much wasted my adolescence, that's quite a tragic notion to consider.

On the bright side, new seasons of Game of Thrones and True Detective are coming up soon.
