I disagree, I see Ellen as being an ENFP or possibly ESFP, but blergh shouldn't dwelve into that now.
Meryl is very intelligent in the way she is able to completely immerse herself in the moment and what it has to offer and what it expects from her, if she's expected to act deep, she will act as if though she was expected to be deep, the woman IS an actress after all, and a skilled one at that, its when you start analyzing what she's actually said in detail instead of taking in the impression of her persona that you realize its more or less a front, she doesnt know what the fuck she's doing, she just does it. She is no system building INFJ, conversations with her are lively but generally shallow and she lacks a systematic understanding of the world, hers being spontaneous. I'm gonna use Celebrity types quote of her (she is asked why art is important):
“Every time I think it’s a silly way to spend my life, I see a performance by another actor and think, ‘I couldn’t live if I didn’t have this in my life.’ I really think that. Or a piece of music. We need art. We really need art. Maybe we need to feel we count, like our existence matters. Acting can do that; it can make you feel more alive and proud to be a human being. Even seeing the worst of humanity.”
So many words for so little.
Also Ni isn't really "quick" its an introverted percieving function that operates behind the scenes relying on "quick" Se impressions. Ie any intuition by definition must follow after a sensing.
Ni is only quicker than Se in forming a complex holistic understanding of a situation, not in picking up on the vibe and going along with the flow instantenously, thats what Meryl does and thats Se.
