What the hell is wrong with these women? They can have anything they want and yet they choose motherhood.

If I were them once I reached the age of 18 I would have sex with any man I want at any time. I would travel the world! I would rise up the ranks in an multinational corporation!

These women either can't handle the stress of an rewarding career or are lazy!

A woman who lacks ambition is a big turn off for me! I don't want children! I want money and hedonism!

I would love to introduce these girls to a life of child free fun, international travel, career opportunities, and hedonism!

I dream of a world where our children are free to follow their dreams and are not pressured to reproduce!

They're 13yo. Why are you even talking about their suitability as a career woman, partner, or sex-haver? They live highly structured lives and don't know who or what they are yet.

My experience with cows , if relevant, is that a female is not emotionally stable without a baby in the belly. I would expect this effect to be quite planetary.

A baby in the belly creates an hormonal balance that provides content and satisfaction.

Something money does not do, at least not directly.

That said. A cow without a baby is infinitely more interesting then one with a baby. And that is the cow that have an interest in things besides themselves.

On one hand humans are not cows, on the other we're not robots either.
Despite as much as some of us might like to be.

What crippli wrote was crudely put however to say a 18yr old shouldn't want to be a mother is just as presumptive as as assuming she should, either way you're assuming you know what's better for someone else better than they know themselves and trying to make the decision for them. I think people have the ability to be dissatisfied with their choices regardless of what those choices were, that there's no "right" path but the one we choose for ourselves because at least then you have the dubious consolation of knowing you have only yourself to blame.

Or maybe that's just my irresponsible cop out :D

So basically, they should want to be men? That's kind of what I got from this...

OP pees his hedo preferences over 13 year olds.
I'm pretty sure one day that girls from rich background grow up, they will travel, rise in corporation ranks (probably inheret shares in family bussiness) and have a lot of fun (sex too!) even if they will have 10 babies. Go figure. Its that money thingy. And connections, I guess.

'rewards' are preference based and that means it is personal and not something you can judge, condone, or promote.

Anyways, good parents and valuing the process of parenting is important to society. Being a good corporate business women/man may not be very beneficial values to instill in people. Certaintly a hard work ethic can be, but it doesnt need to be through the guise of being anti-family. Now some would argue any influence is bad and to just let children be whatever but thats very ignorant. Children are influenced by many things and taking yourself out of the equation is like letting a child try to learn to swim on their own. They may drown or someone else will teach them angways and all you did was increase their risk of failure or let someone else be their influence.

There is a difference between choosing for them and establishing yourself as a positive influence. There is also a difference between influnce and manipulation.

I guess what I am trying to say is that there is as much room if not more to respect a women who chooses parenting over being a CEO. It is more about how they fulfill the role than what role they choose, that should drive admiration.
