I was thinking a lot, and couldn't find any answers. Help me.
(I want focus on jobs that require logic thinking and mathematics, like computer science).

I have mate INTJ. When my life is cover with lazyness, boredom, failure, he always had the best grades, was loved by teachers, everyone in class seen him as very intelligent boy. He moved from our small stiupid town in Poland to Oxford in England to secondary school. Now he got offert from Cambridge, so he'll have good future.

I thought INTP are awesome too, but can't see why they should. Only I still have is belief that maybe I have other advantages than my INTJ mate.

Other awesome man who I know is ISTP, he also has the best grades, and he will have good future. He also have affirmation from other people in school, he won many mathematic competition.

What are INTP advantages in work? Where I can have predominance?

[In childhood we both, me and INTJ was incredible kids, what happend, so he is now better than me? :/ ]

It's dangerous to draw broad conclusions from very little evidence. Let's say, instead, you know 500 people from each of the 16 types. And, let's say those 8,000 people were from a wide variety of other types (roughly half male, half female, many of each age group, several ethnic backgrounds, several religious backgrounds, etc.). I think you'd have much more information about INTP advantages at work. I also think you wouldn't find that INTJs or ISTPs are necessarily great compared to INTPs.

logic thinking, mathematics...

maybe you could master one of the standardized tests, like the GMAT or LSAT, and become an instructor for one or both tests.

An INTP makes a great instructor, because he/she can come up with innovative ways to explain and simplify complex material to make it easier to understand.

I can tell you are smart by the way you structure your sentences. That being said, a little determination and ambition go a long way.

sad thing your self-worth is so contingent on academic and professional success, while your natural preference as an INTP may be to oppose, shun or ignore such competitive games. if you are motivated to channel your brains into some specific endeavour, you can succeed. but if not, prioritizing economic and scholarly prestige will just load you with guilt and shame.

I'm personally not so eager to judge people on purely an MBTI basis. Surely to say there are no successful INTPs is ridiculous. I know Bronto is not saying that strictly (I hope) but to neglect determination and ambition entirely because "that's just the way you are" is naive. Truth is there are many facets of a man and knowing what is worth striving for is admirable.

If what you say is true, opening, then the people with the best grades are the most successful people in the world. Our academic system is a piece of shit in terms of measuring intelligence.

No, that is not true. You are assuming grades are the only thing worth striving for.
