Socializing is always awkward, now matter what you do. I know this, because I have just done it. ANYWAY. I first filled out an MBTI test some years ago at the enthusiastic behest of my father (an INTJ) who is a professional consultant and is therefore interested in things like personality types. The results: INTP; I was mildly amused, but as such being at the behest of my father I didn't afford the results much credence. Flash forward to present times, I find myself living in a relatively new city, slow to make friends, having experienced years of frustration derived from failing to meet people who like to ah, you know, learn about stuff (California, the place in which I live is California), and so I take this test again, consequently stay up past four in the morning giggling to myself over the "you know you are INTP when" thread, and experience a glimmer of hope justification that I don't need a damned shrink. Which is to say, "Hello, my name is Salt, and I'm an INTP."
