500th Post

I'm using this as a double thread to both celebrate my 500th post and to say goodbye to this forum for a while.

I've been putting off getting my life in order for a while now. I'm in a job I hate and a city that I've grown tired off. Yet because my life is easy right now I've refused to move on from the position I'm in. This forum has become too much of an escape for me and so until I got some bit sorted I need to leave it.

This forum means a lot to me but I've begun to use it as a safety blanket. I see so many people like myself here, detached and unmotivated and I've started using that as an excuse for the condition of my own life. Escapism is a natural thing but my relationship with this forum has become somewhat unhealthy.

I'll be back soon enough, so until then bye.
