I know Red Hot Chili Peppers, they're decent but I don't know, they just don't hold the same appeal.

A lot of times they're hit or miss for me.

Still have some good stuff though, IMO

Other than my post in the Welcome thread, this is my first post! Hello all.
I was a little disappointed with most of the MBTI tests I took as they don't really suggest INTPs bein involved in any sort of creative output. But I make music all the time.
I can't tell if I'm surprised or not that most people on this forum are into music of a rock/metal persuasion - I like music that is chaotic or unusual, but at least partially remains melodic and listenable. My favourite artists at the moment:

1. Cocteau Twins
2. Talking Heads (sort of an all-time favourite)
3. This Heat
4. R. Stevie Moore
5. Peter Hammill

Avenged Sevenfold (mainly Nightmare, but love most of their songs)
Disturbed
X Ray Dog
Within Temptation
Rage Against The Machine

I can't wait until Disturbed comes off of Hiatus. I was however, lucky enough to see them on tour before their Hiatus. David Draiman is the bomb.

I feel kind of awkward saying this since most people find it annoying, but I love to listen to just about anything with Vocaloids doing the singing, though if I had to pick bands I would say...

fripSide - J-pop/trance
Nightwish - Melodic Gothic Metal
Trivium - Death metal/Metalcore
Aya Hirano - J-pop
Assorted Vocaloid songs, I love the Vocaloids, their songs cover just about every genre.
Trivium is amazing. Ever seen them live? :p
