Why 1000? We only reset to 0 when when we count one more than 9 because each of us has one more than 9 fingers, with few exceptions. Give me something to celebrate, CoolyDudey. Tell me the tales of INTP Forum.

To be honest I was entirely expecting this. But the arbitrariness of the decimal system is so embedded into our thought process that it makes more sense to accept it than reject it, to celebrate 1000 posts and every 10th birthday etc. etc.
On another note, 1000 was actually a very good milestone for me. Not too close, not too far.

Haha I had to be "that guy." It's difficult to think of a milestone that isn't arbitrary. Certainly, it won't be anything directly related to quantity. The first and last may be cause for excitement, but those are not milestones. I could use 1000 with you as an example, but it would have to be because this thread was memorable. Do something retrospective!
