  • Every once and a while I find you crossing my mind. Even if you're gone from this world, for the short time I knew you... you helped shape mine. In that way, you live on.
I believe 10. I believe that the Jesuits + Papal bloodlines are the apex of the pyramid, if there is another group above them then no-one has ever named them. People think your a Christian if you start talking about Rome, yet its the most obvious Satanic evidence - Jesuits/Papacy. Btw when Rastas say Babylon they also mean Rome/Papacy.
I picked up the Emotion Machine. I'll have to let you know what I think after I'm done reading it.
Arabic, nice! Alright, now I just have to figure out what to say in the introduction thread to make it not sound awkward....
Ooh, do you know about iTunesU? There are some pretty cool podcasts up there. Don't worry about the video, just pass it on whenever you get un-busy :). Meh, so what do I do over on the other forum? Is it customary to introduce one's self of do I just start posting? baah, I'm confused.
haha, Finished the test in about 15 minutes. Ooh, send me the video! That's the kind of stuff that I'm REALLY into. I wanted to be a doctor when I was younger. Who knows, maybe someday I'll go to medical school just for kicks :p. Hooray, registered for the infj forum!
    Thanks for ze link!
Oh man, work sounds harsh. I hope that you get some rest soon! Well, I'm off to go take my aviation meteorology midterm, so I'll check out the other forum in a bit :D.
Ooh, maybe I will then. What's the link for it
I've been great! Oh gods, LA was amazing. We ended up getting delayed a bit and got there around 11 on Friday night, then stayed up until 2 and got back up at 3.15 to go to the airport :P. Then we went back and slept for a bit, and I got home around 10. Then I left to pick up a friend and go BACK to LA for the observatory. We saw a planetarium show on how telescopes changed the field of astronomy (soo cool) and saw the saw a sunset presentation about the vernal equinox. Oooh, and then the fun part- it was a 'public stars night' which means that the Los Angeles amateur astronomer's club sets up their telescopes on the observatory lawn. We saw Saturn (the coolest thing I have EVER seen)and its largest moon, Titan, the Moon, the Pleiades star cluster, Mars, and the Orion Nebula. It was an AMAZING night. :D Then on Sunday I secluded myself in the house and recharged.
    How have you been?
So tell me, is the INFJ forum fun? I have a good friend who's an INFJ and we get along really well. And truth be told, I get a tiny bit bored on here sometimes, might be a little fun to mix it up! I tried to find an INFP forum but the only one I managed to dig up seemed a little lackluster.
Actually, the octopus doesn't really have a bad temper, whenever she gets mad she just fumes in a corner :P. Octopus beaks can be dangerous, they are very sharp and contain venom. For a two-spot however, the venom is like a bee sting provided you're not allergic to it! I haven't been bitten in the five years or so I've been working with two-spots, and I really don't plan to. I'm pretty sure they don't have color vision, but they can distinguish the polarization of light.
I can't imagine not living near an ocean. But snow sounds kind of fun... until I get cold, then it sounds miserable. :P I can actually see snow on the mountains on my drive to school, which is a bit of a weird sight when it's around 80 degrees down here! I'm sorry you have to work over the weekend. Don't forget to celebrate the Vernal Equinox, though! :D
Yessum, a real two-spot octopus! Did you know they have the intelligence of a two year old human child? That's why we give them things to place with ( ex. potato heads and lego buildings they can take apart, jars to open, etc.) so they don't get bored . The one we have right now is a little rascal, she steals whatever you're trying to clean her tank with and tries to escape any chance she realizes that you're not looking. Then when you stop her she turns really dark and throws a temper tantrum. She also hoards legos in her den :P. Oh, and it's so adorable, she just figured out how to catch bubbles and release them one by one. Haha Sorry, she is one of my favorites so I could go on forever about her. She just has so much personality!
Nothin' much is new. I'm about to go on an adventure, though! A friend and I discovered an empty lot a while back that has lots of trees, a tire swing and rope swings, and a great view of ocean so we're going to go visit that again. What's new with you?
Yes there is! Lots of things to keep a person amused. It works out perfectly so that the time spent doing fun stuff balances out the time spent in traffic :P Just kidding, the traffic isn't all too bad around where I am. LA's a different story, though.
And that potatohead has seen many worse a day... you should see it after the octopus gets done playing with it! It is her toy, after all :P
Oh wow, I took those pictures a while ago. That was indeed a sad moment in history.
And I probably spend far too much time on mine. Sometimes simpler is better. Isn't it pretty late over there?
I swear I'll try to be nice... no guarantees, though!
    :D
Woo, I just found out there's an INTP group on facebook! :join:
AAANNNDDD guess who has internet back on her laptop? Emily does, Emily does!!!

    (I am so excited.)
Aww man, I dont have any cash on me! I'll promise not to make fun of you for talking to yourself if I can have it for free! :)
Tried the link you gave me for the software, still turns out the same error message. Going to go try to find the same adapter I had before... Wish me luck.
I will, I will! I've already made a plan to stop at mi madre's house on the way to the place I'm staying to use the desktop over there.
Ooh, wanna send me the link to the one on the consciousness/ the brain?
Frack, you keep posting messages right when I'm in the middle of typing a new one!
    But hahaha, aww a kitteh!
Oh lol, I was just talking about right now. I do have caffiene occasionally because I like to drink tea. I usually only like coffee when it's cold out but I don't bother getting decaf 'cause caffiene doesn't really have an effect on me anyway. I don't keep coffee in the house, though.
Oh, that's interesting (it has come to my attention that I use this word too often, need to use a thesaurus!) about the sleep cycles though. Not really that suprising though, it's amazing what the human body can adapt to.
Hol-ly shit!! That's insane! I'm glad that you're making those changes though, I'm sure your quality of life will improve exponentially :).
    Caffiene: I haz nune.
Haha! I hadn't heard of the polyphasic sleep schedule, but I just googled it and it's really interesting. The page I looked at mentioned how it was used by NASA and the Air Force under extreme conditions, too. I don't think I could ever do that though, short naps only end up making me more tired for some reason.
    So you're a caffiene addict, eh? :P
Yep, the overnight sails to Catalina are the best. The only bad thing is getting up for anchor watch for an hour in the middle of the night :P.
The first step will certainly be the most difficult... I have a circadian rhythm disorder where my brain puts me to sleep around 2 or 3 am and then I'll wake up naturally at around 9. But since I have class and things to do, I usually don't end up getting to wake up that late so I don't get enough sleep. Blah.
Everything after that doesn't seem so difficult, though. I'm excited for trying this!
Good to know the terminology. I haven't had a chance yet. I was going to do it last night but some friends from out of town were in the area and called to see if I was up for something. I'll get to it either this morning or after work this evening, probably.
But yeah, sailing is one of the most relaxing things ever, if you're not a deckhand on a short sail. We have cannon battles every september where a bunch of other ships from southern California dock in our harbor for tallships festival, and then we all sail out together and fire gunpowder at each other. It's badass, but if you're on crew for it you're ready to pass out by the end because of the constant maneuvering to get the ship into firing position. It's a blast. Hehe, no pun intended. On the other hand, overnight sails are great and there's lots of free time.
I've had quite a few lucid dreams, but I only have them when I'm very stressed. I wasn't aware that you could teach yourself to lucid dream! That's cool, I want to try.
Oh wow, me too. Over the summer I teach camps for little kids, and last summer instead of teaching what I've done in the past (marine bio/oceanography/etc) I got put onto the maritime camps which are taught on the tall ships. At the time I new a little about sailing and maritime history but definitely not enough to feel comfortable teaching about it, so I started learning like mad so I'd be ready. For a good half the summer I had these really vivid lucid dreams that I would wake up from a couple times a night because I was so stressed about not really knowing what I was doing. Lucid dreams are cool, but not if you need to wake up feeling rested.
That's great, I'm glad you liked it! Up for the book now? :D
I am sorry to hear that you also had trouble in school. In what ways is an alternative school different from a regular high school?
Did you really not start talking until that late? How very odd. My mother is a preschool teacher and she's told me stories of kids that don't start talking until they're around that age, but then they start talking in full sentences rather than fragmented ones.
You too, huh? I was afraid I wasn't going to graduate because some of my grades were so poor. I was ready to get the fuck out of that place, hated it with all my heart. My classes were boring, the people were boring/ignorant/cruel, my struggle with depression didn't help either. It was my own personal version of hell.
I KNOW, isn't it great?! And yeah, I really want to know the math behind it, too. I had a really shitty math experience when I was younger and it really discouraged me from trying to advance my skills because my confidence was just so low. But lately I'm beginning to see math in a differnt light and realized that I was just looking at it in the wrong way. Not sure if that makes much sense. But yeah, because of that I decided to start over with a clean slate in some algebra classes with material that I've covered in the past to have a solid foundation when I move on to higher levels.
I don't actually, I still have a lot to learn. I consider that a good thing, though. At first I had the urge to jump head first into string theory and learn as much as I could as fast as possible, but it only resulted in a halfassed understanding of the underlying concepts of what i had learned. So I'm trying a new approach- starting off with the most basic parts of the theory, things like special and general relativity, among other things, and doing my best to fully grasp them and then move onto other parts. It's tough and it's taking a while, but in the end it'll be worth it. Physics is one subject that takes longer for me to digest than others for some reason, but my curiosity won't leave it alone so it makes for an interesting challenge.
Ooh! The second part is more about the quantum physics side of sting theory, I think. Could be wrong, though. How did you like the 1st part? Damn, now I want to watch it... Left my DVD at home though. :(
oh, and I've decided that I really quite like you, by the way :D
Holy shit! I can't even fathom what that must be like. Don't think I'd ever be able to get out of bed. Have you considered moving elsewhere?
Yeah, I did! The visuals were really cool, and I really liked Alice's character. How on earth can you bear to live in such cold weather!? When it gets down to 55 here people start shivering and complaining :P
Win XP. It's been fine, a lot of packing and unpacking 'cause I'm house-sitting for a friend this week to watch her pets. I saw Alice in Wonderland in 3D on Friday night, though! And the weather was really warm today so I got to drive with my sunroof open, that made me happy :).
Hehe, you keep posting on your own wall. I've already tried to open it from the setup.exe but it takes me through the same process with installshield. Blah.
Thanks for trying to help though, I really appreciate it. Happy Pi day, by the way! How has your weekend been?
I would suggest saving that link and accessing it at school or somewhere and downloading it from there then running that on your lappy.
Yea, sorry, I figured you were on a laptop w/o the desktop working. What OS are you running? Try right clicking on your CD drive, and selecting Explore, then finding the setup.exe and right clicking on that and selecting run as administrator if the option is there.
