In reference to your picture comment of June, 2011, I think that is a snowy owl, just with a bit more pigmentation than some.

My commute to school is roughly 10 minutes on a given day. I've been burned through the window in that time on multiple occasions.

I agree, the homework is assigned rather more often. Ugh.
Also, I was put in choir all through middle school due to an error, despite wanting to be in band. Because of that, going in to band now is not really an option...
(Choir isn't inherently bad, but it was horrid for me because I can't hit a note to save my life. A shame.)
