Hey,
I'm sure you're utterly fed up of reading these introductory threads now, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and write one just for you
---
I'm a male student in a typical (= crappy) English secondary school
. I love anything technology-related, but take an interest to any other random thing that happens to be intellectually stimulating, which turns out to be an exceptionally large problem when researching on Wikipedia: Ive had Firefox run out of memory and crash many times after opening up hundreds of tabs that I deemed to be "mildly interesting". (of course these in addition to all the other typical INTP traits)
I had always known that somehow I was different to everyone else around me, ever since I was five or six. I suppose I tried to fit in with everyone else, and I daresay that I did a pretty good job until one or two years ago. It was then when I realised that keeping this more extroverted side of me up whilst I was at school and such was taking a huge strain on me, unlike everyone else.
I can't actually remember exactly when or where I was first introduced to the MBTI. I remember taking a (very inaccurate, mind you) online test which somehow managed to class me as an ISTJ *shudder*.
I still don't know quite how that happened, but since then after reading many descriptions of the personalities (of varying accuracy and depth) it is apparent that I am an INTP.
I found this excellent community from typelogic.com several months ago, I've been lurking around here since then. I've also been around (passively) on IRC. Hopefully, after looking around and settling in, I might come out from my dark corner and talk a bit more.
(As an aside, I think this makes me the youngest member of the forum? I've just turned 14.
