Because the internet went to shit and I no longer care about anyone's opinions. Without a specific super niche specialty, or some common project, there's no reason to keep screaming in the void. What's there to gain?
The forums become dead when we stop living in them. Let's not create a self-fulfilling prophecy here. There are clear advantages to being here vs other mediums. 1) More diverse like-minded individuals. 2) Less oversight and conformity pressures. 3) The opportunity for depth-laden conversations. 4) A lower chance of infiltration by mainstream scrapers and such.
