I consider both of these songs "worship songs," but the presentation between them is quite different.

OT you should watch the South Park episode about Christian music, it's great.

Season 7 Episode 9, Christian Hard Rock

And before you ask NO it does not exist to just slander Christianity, it actually takes respect in showing both sides like South Park usually does exploring certain topics

Edit: You know it's a good video when the moment you link it it's unavailable to you. Can anyone else see this?

Anyway, it's the album Memorial by Russian Circles. I like it on 2x. Probably my fav of their albums but I haven't looked all the way through their catalogue. I find it useful for mood regulation when sped up because it's got a somber tone but with the extra speed it gives a sense of progression and purpose?

Yeah pretty normal. I like fast music because I have a psychological need for energy/progression/purpose. This would limit what I listen to fairly drastically, so I'd prefer to dishonour the intention of the artist than ignore the existence of their music completely. Most reasonably fast music is 1.25, but slower music is 2x. Some music (like reggae) is beyond salvaging though. There are very few songs I prefer at the intended speed.

I also watch everything on 2x if possible unless it's conceptually very dense. Student habit mixed with attentional difficulties. I think speeding up viewing is relatively common but the music thing less so? Not my fault musicians are so lazy.

Get It On (Live)

Song by

Marc Bolan, T. Rex
Well, you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don't look back and I love you
You're dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well, you're slim and weak
You've got the teeth of the hydra upon you
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Well, you're built like a car
You've got a hub cap diamond star halo
You're built like a car, oh yeah
Well, you're an untamed youth
That's the truth, with your cloak full of eagles
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Well, you're windy and wild
You've got the blues in your shoes and your stockings
You're windy and wild, oh yeah
Well, you're built like a car
You've got a hub cap diamond star halo
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Well, you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don't look back and I love you
You're dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well, you dance when you walk
So let's dance, take a chance, understand me
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Get it on, bang a gong, get it on
Take me

Didn't know this rock n roll group much, but heres a back story on Marc Bolan:

Hado, no offense, but this is insane.

Edit: just the music. I get watching stuff on 2x
