sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, mods move this to a better location if you so feel.

So, even though this is "funny" I think that it will resonate on this forum.

If thinking is the problem I like to use it to find the solution. The problem is ...

too many problems.

haha, yeah, agreed. If you watched the thing, Stanhope does say "...and that's when the carnival kicks into high gear!"

I admired a feeling professor (department of humanities) once. I sent him a summer letter which was an essay puzzling about "Why Philosophers Disagree." It took me weeks to write. It got me a private audience with him in his home. I was nineteen.

He told me a lot of stuff and had some great observations. (Like, "Have you ever kissed a girl?") But one of them mentioned, "ruminating too much." I went home and looked up the word.

I say to hell with it. If some people have to think, that is none of others' business. Some people do nothing but feel and look where it gets them. The task is to channel one's thinking if one is so disposed.

I never really thought about this as a problem. When people look at me funny because I'm not payingattention to them and I daydream instead I either shrug it off or laugh it off. The people I'm close with are still annoyed at me but I couldn't care less.

I find that most problems are only problems because people say they are, not because anything's actually wrong.

Right. It is a totally subjective thing,
And then you can go on and on and on and on...

What a coincidence, I'm listening to doug stanhope atm. I'm a fan, I've listened to all his stand-ups for at least 3 times. Great guy.

Oh. I failed to say what I meant by "problem." I was thinking of like mathematical problems where some issue is presented and the task is to straighten out the truth about it: what is true or false? where is it going? does it have value? is it good or bad or neutral? what are its relative merits? ... things like that. It didn't mean "problem" in the sense of annoyance or something failing to work right. I meant a knot to be unraveled.

Too much being alone I guess.

Yeah it was nice. As he said he takes Xanax, I'm now considering that too. :D
I'm very humble though, and the consideration will probably last a couple of years before I make a decision. I'm rather indecisive >.> Particularly because the anxiety and all yeah >.< :D

For now, I'll manage; hopefully. :)
