Yeah, you posted it in the Statistics, anyone? thread

Thought I'd add that using R project and Matlab software for stat analysis is very good.

I prefer R because of the open-endedness of the command line interface. It's based on the S language much like S-Plus. It's open source and has some sophisticated modules like neural nets etc.
