Do you regret anything?
If so, what is it that you regret, why do you regret it, and/or how do you approach regret?
Philosophically, I sense that there are a lot of things today that fuel expectations, and these things we expect for ourselves fuel regret if something doesn’t pan out as expected.
When I think about my past, I feel regret in some instances, and I constantly feel as if there is “not enough time” to do everything I wish I could have done.
Sometimes when you tell someone something like this, i.e. feeling regretful about the past about something that was missing or that didn’t go as was hoped for, the response or reaction might be, “oh, the past is in the past. Look forward to what you can do now and tomorrow”
But I think there is value in introspection and reflection, hence this post.
