What defines a psycopath? I feel like I could be psycopathic if I wished, I rekn I can sense that "switch" they talk about. I could immagine killing someone "just because". does this make me psycopathic? I am more restricted by consequence than morality.

fuck going to jail is all I am worried about. (is swearing an issue on this forum? som1 let me know please if yes).

I rekn I have performed a psycopathic act in the past, I'd rather keep it secret to the mass, but if any1 is curiuos and has insight to it, pm me and ill think about telling you.

Re: psycopathy

Don't worry. If there's a question in your mind that you're a psychopath, you're not one. The fact that there's any uncertainty in your mind means you're in the clear.

Re: psycopathy

I recommend reading this book(that I'm just about to finish, and feel more informed). To much to get into now(as my normal Internet is broken)

Jonathan Metzl’s The Protest Psychosis

It provides imo a necessary context to how mental illness are a reflection of society. As an intro before one dives into the categories. As one will discover, what a psychopath is have many components. Foremost, the psychologist that diagnoses you, topography, race, sex etc.

It is not a simple question. And diagnosis is not done objectively. And to make matters more confusing. 'Tomorrow', things are different.

Other then that, I have little knowledge about this. But I believe what I wrote above is accurate.

Re: psycopathy

honestly the predominant thought in my head right now is "how can I use this to get ahead" following the rules takes too long to get anywhere. I can't think of any relevant way I can apply this advantage of ability to manipulate/ not care about others. (i realize this was worded terribly, just take it with a grain of salt) I'm not a terrible person, just want to take shortcuts to get ahead with less effort required.

Re: psycopathy

somfoolishfoole I won't bother to define that word although it has something to do with social misbehavior. Here is a simple rendition:

We all relate to society in some way. It is natural to start out with self-interest. If society or part of society does us wrong, its natural to form a dislike. But normally society is a benefit. After all without it we wouldn't be fed or learn a language. So we make a bargain: If you do for me, I will treat you nice so you will show promise in returning that favor. If you don't do for me, I won't care. If you renig on some promise you made or I fancy I think you made, I will hate you and seek possibly to punish you ... especially if I think I can get away with it. The drawback of this attitude is you may get hated back making things worse.

My impression from your post is you are making a rational inquiry due to some experience of yours. That is not "psychopathic."

Re: psycopathy

my "psycopathic" act, if it is any sort of measure, would be on the same level as perhaps beastiality. I did not perform beastiality but I feel the act performed is of a similare degree of distastefulness in nature.

I think it is more a display of what I am capable of rather than who or what I am. I was 15 or so when said act was performed (multiple times actually). It's actually a very sore subject for me, I probably would not be saying a thing about it if I weren't drunk right now.

Re: psycopathy

Murder is often inefficient and not worth the effort in any given situation.

Ultimately, psychopathy is a philosophy that considers ethics to be nothing more than social constructs, coupled with a lack of fear, which leads to acting within this loose ethical framework.

Sociopathy exists along a practical gradient of social intelligence that stretches from the very egocentric and impulsive "Scarface" type to the very controlled and rhetorical "Robin Hood" type. My tightey whiteys are hunter green.

You can swear, just don't make it every other word.

This guy's interesting and calls psychopaths "monobeings"

http://www.bethelministries.com/psychopaths.htm
Interesting indeed. :D

However, generally, monobeings do not have a mind disease or mental disorder or personality disorder. They are creatures created by God that consist only of a body without a conscience or soul or spirit.
rofl. Perhaps the author should look into the life of Jesus from the Gnostic perspective pre-Constantine. :cat:
Not only do monobeings have an unnatural stare, at times, but a disproportionate percentage of monobeings have a diastema (gap between the top or bottom middle teeth).

In any case, if possible, the absolute best thing to do after being abandoned or escaping is to have NO CONTACT WHATSOEVER. NONE.
In which case they'd best be running far from ^this guy.
