Just got the word today that I'm starting the first course of the MS in Counseling. It's an evaluation session, where they let you study for a couple weeks and then pick your brain to see if you are sane enough to be a mini-psychologist. They do not accept all candidates.
As usual with my school, there's an assignment due the first day, and I was put into a class less than a week away. Got 12 articles to read and a 2 page paper to do. Not a big deal, if I start today.
Wish me luck, folks. I'm sure I can handle the class work, but the 600 hours of clinical internship looms. As far as I can tell, I'm setting out to accomplish the hardest thing I've ever done.
Off to begin the homework.
