Not the crap starring that atrociously unnattractive dwarven US scientology lunatic. Not the masterful Orson Welles version of H. G. Wells' classic book either (which I admit to not having read) - I'm not quite old enough for the 1938 radio broadcast.
But I was a very young kid when this came out, and I loved it to bits. It composed a large part of my primal atmospheric senses and apocalyptic fantasies
