Night skies in major cities

A look at what the night sky would look like over several major cities if there was no light pollution. Thought that this was pretty neat

I can't actually see the image, but I have to say that I always wanted my city to have a blackout in the middle of the night just so I could see what lies beyond the atmosphere. When I told my mother this she laughed and told me about how impractical that was.
