When @ZenRaiden mentioned adaptation and disorders not being the same, I thought of how I don't really do much that INTP do.

If INTP are logical and can connect A with B

Then it seems they could do so in a technical way.

My friend has dyslexia and can make anything after seeing it once (electric circuits). My brother builds things in Minecraft and other games.

It is I can sometimes design things but not without a reference or purpose. But in those simple cases I just build it. I don't know how to create an elaborate system. I believe this is because of low working memory.

What I do is take things apart "Analysis".

Synthesis is harder.

I can solve problems by reverse engineering them. Ask me to create something new and I have no ideas.

So it's a case of no logic?

I can get around things use tools and manipulate them with precision. It's different when I have any ideas. So maybe I can play a complex puzzle game on the Wii - yet chess don't make sense.

-

I don't know if I am being clear or explaining correctly.

The stuff I can do and cannot do.

My memory is low, tried to remember things, can't.

I know how stuff works. Can't make it.

Want to design, I cannot see anything.

Nothing comes out.

I cannot tell what is wrong.

The psychological tests don't tell me.

They all suck.

They don't specify the difference ways executive functioning happens. I suppose this is why no one can tell me what job I should do. They ask me what I want to do and I can't tell them.

Supposedly brain scans make trillions of calculations but no one knows what kids are good at. Paper tests are all that they use and are obsolete with no real theory behind them.

I was told by someone smart they put me on meds because I didn't fit any profile that allows them to give me a good job. It's easier to medicate me.

I can understand such grievances. It must be a lot of struggle to know there is something wrong and not able to fix it.

It can be pretty depressing and sad.

But from what I know about you I would have typed you as INTP.

You say and do a lot of smart things despite all the stuff you struggle with.

So there must be plenty logic and reasoning involved in your thoughtful posts.

I also noticed you have pretty independent mind. You don't let people bully you into a position, but you keep an open mind. Which is very rare these days.

Lots of people I know get very offended and often try to attack a position.

You seem to often write as if you thought things through.

So you sound like a person that thought and learned a lot of things.

You often contribute greatly to discussion.

Though you sometimes seem to overthink a position too.

Which is very normal thing to do with thinkers.

I know you don't identify as INTP. But you certainly have some patterns that could easily overlap with INTP style of thinking.

I was going to say something similar. Compared to most people in the usa, I actually think you are smarter than most.
Just being here on this forum, you seem to have high level thinking skills.

A skill as a feeler is just being attentive and kind to people. That is a super-power in and of itself that not everyone has.
Developing kind words for people and smiles and being of service is all most people need from anyone.

If you have skills in just being attentive to people, the friendly aspect is usually more than enough to get by many times.

Sometimes it feels like I have ADHD

Not all the time, at other times I am hyper focused.

Only it is about me not being able to think that depresses me.

Bipolar can do this. Cognitive decline.

Like right now, I haven't the ability to think at the moment.

I got really angry at a problem and now I cannot think.

It's too big and I have other things I need to do but I can't do them.

I feel emotionally and mentally drained.

A big dent is there in the right forehead.

It holds me down, all I can do is not move.

Its not just you, a LOT of people are saying their brain batteries are gone right now. Its because another HUGE solar flare is affecting things today and for the next few days. Best thing is take it easy, drink electrolytes, watermelon, cucumber, coconut water or electrolytes and rest.

I have had brain fog and physical pains and trying to stay inside.

05/21/25: From Gamma Ray and Solar Flare Daily Facebook page:

1. Geomagnetic Field (SpaceWeatherLive data):
• Bz remained strongly negative (-4.5 to -5.1 nT) during the night
→ This means Earth’s magnetic field was open to incoming solar energy
• Bt was around 7.1 nT → indicating elevated geomagnetic pressure
• Kp Index: fluctuated between 3 and 4 → low-grade geomagnetic storm
Conclusion: Earth’s magnetic field was in a state of increased activation, which may have disrupted:
• heart rhythm,
• brainwaves,
• sleep cycles,
• and caused electromagnetic sensitivity symptoms.

2. Cumiana VLF Monitoring – Electromagnetic Activity:
• From 03:00–05:00 UTC (05:00–07:00 CEST) the charts show:
• intense vertical red and white spikes, which indicate powerful electromagnetic pulses
• disruption in electric and geophone signals, which may affect:
• balance,
• nerve function,
• muscle tension,
• gut-brain signaling
• The Schumann Resonance (7.83 Hz) appears irregular and partially interrupted
→ The body may have struggled to synchronize with Earth’s natural frequency
Conclusion: The system was unable to lock into a stable energetic rhythm, contributing to dysregulation upon waking.

3. Tomsk Schumann (Russia) – Full Frequency Band:
• Increased harmonic activity at 14, 20, 26 Hz
→ Can trigger nervous system stimulation and emotional reactivity
• Disruption of core 7.83 Hz band, especially during early morning
→ May have prevented full overnight restoration

4. LIKELY SYMPTOMS TODAY (based on energy conditions):
• Nausea, gut tension, loose stools
• Heart palpitations or inner tremors
• Fatigue despite sleep, “brain fog”
• Dizziness, dream-like state, low focus
• Emotional restlessness or anxiety without clear reason

@birdsnestfern
We've talked about posting from other social media here before. It's good that you're honest about where you're getting it from but it's just not relevant or appropriate.

It's odd to me that you're talking about spatial creativity but then cite people spatially copyingpasting. You have aphantasia, which is going to be change the way you think about space, but it's not fatal to your spatial creativity. It just means you don't have an internal canvas. This can be a good thing for creative pursuits because it forces you to proceed slowly and with great consideration. Design can be calculation if you can properly define the problem.

Regarding chess, that's a skill. I also have (milder) aphantasia and I won a casual tournament when I played as a teen. There are principles that will initially orient your play (e.g. mobility = power, center of the board gives more mobility and therefore is important to control), which is then refined through practice. While I don't possess the capacity to be truly good (too much memorisation), aphantasia alone shouldn't stop you from performing decently. One of the things about chess is that to even be average, you have to play a lot or be exceptionally talented - because the chess playing population have an enormous number of reps under their belt.

I'd be interested to see how far you can take reverse engineering. If you reverse engineered something and then added one additional constraint, could you redesign it to better meet that constraint?
