One of my good friends, who I haven't hung out with in a while, invited me to a BBQ at her house. I showed up and there were people there who I hadn't seen in years. So, I sat down with some of them and chit-chatted about school, how they've been, shit like that. Then, a couple of us played soda pong, and then we all sat around the fire and talked and had fun. After the BBQ my friend told me something that I did not expect: that I was a "party animal." I reviewed the night in my head and I found that I was the at the center of attention for most of the night without even realizing it. I guess what I'm trying to say is that developing your Fe is not as big of a task as a lot of us make it out to be.

How is being the center of attention related to Fe? (I know some ways, but I'm asking you to review your assumptions).

I think this can be much easily attributed to Ne.

What is going on (assuming you are an INTP) is that your secondary, Ne came out to play. Ne can give us wit and charm in social situations, which is why people often like us. Compare this to the INTJ's who can come off as cold fish.

Fe would have come out at the party if you had personally connected with people, listened to their life stories and commiserated, etc.

that developing your Fe is not as big of a task as a lot of us make it out to be.

Yeah, it is.

INTP Fe integration

I've been working on Fe for 40 odd years and still have work. It's a Siren that you will probably always wrestle with to some degree, which is probably good as it is also your Muse.

The end goal of the INTP analysis is validation from others and giving (wisdom, knowledge) to others (i.e. Fe).

Ne allows to be charming, but he WANTED to do it, which is Fe. Am I wrong here?

Good point. I'd expect it wouldn't take a lot of Fe to do that however.

Best way to understand what a well developed Fe is to observe it in a Fe dominant such as an INFJ. INFJ's have 'radar' into people. They listen, talk to you about your issues, make observations about you, and know what is going on with you before you even know yourself.

Wanted to comment on this from my experience:

I don't like listening to various bullshit, I don't like giving advices unless they are on a very minimal level about something otherwise completely illogical (but in that case, most people wouldn't listen anyway). I do, however, figure out what's up before he/she does - because of that, at one point I wanted to be a psychologist, because I was fascinated by how good I can figure things out before anyone else does. However, at the time I still was thinking without knowing the mandatory information, which has changed now. In the process of changing, I realized that psychologists have to listen to a lot of nonsense, and they have to be nice to people. I don't like neither, and I like direct information, not 2 hours of shit about something that can be said in one 5 word sentence. I see this "observational feature" as T, not F - I don't get involved or feel anything for people in question, I do rationalize why he/she thinks/acts/etc. that way, not understand it from feelings or something alike. I believe I've mentioned the last part somewhere else around here though.
