INTP ... or INTJ?

I am tested INTP, but on cognitive functions tests I take around the internet, I end up getting INTJ and score VERY highly on Ni. Sometimes I even get ENTJ. I am here to seek information from people outside of my friend circle who are all into the MBTI.

I can confirm being an NT. I have a very strong NT preference apparently.

I'm just conflicted about my type this time around. I'm here for answers as to why this could be.

The tests are wonky and descriptions inaccurate, MBTI is actually in its 3rd edition and the tests on the net don't even account for the drastic changes.

Besides that, I say the reason could be that you probably are NiTe, but relate more to perceiving/irrational traits so that keeps giving you INT-P (Carl Jung, the originator of the types, would consider NiTe to be a perceiving type).

I can see that, a friend of mine who is an INTJ- we get along well. Have similar experiences and views . When I read descriptions of TiNe I relate to it less and less. I'm an enneagram 6 if that sheds any light.

How does teritiary Fi manifest itself in an INTJ?

How does teritiary Fi manifest itself in an INTJ?

I identify with the NT description, and that's all I ever seem to get tested as, but the last one's not a very good indicator, given that the tests aren't accurate. To my INTJ friend I'm "for sure" a Ti-dom, though, but what if she's confusing the function for something else? Fi, maybe? I'm taking IxFP into consideration as well. In a lot of ways those two functions can be very alike.

Does inferior Se involve a lot of overindulgence?

Extraverted sensing in the INTJ can be seen through periods of overindulgence. Also inappropriate outbursts of a distinctly physical nature such as smashing things, hitting things, threats of violence - it's like when they reach the end of their rope and there is nothing left, then the only thing remaining to do is make a mark somehow, even if they just wind up marking up themselves.

At least that can be some examples for you. Remember that functions don't expressly manifest as individuals (but in pairs) so the aforementioned examples of mine probably represent inferior expression of Fi and Se together.

That actually does sound like how I've been acting, especially recently. But I'll take a deeper look into the inferior functions.
