Help Me With My Type???

After lots of lurking I finally decided to make an account to try and pinpoint my type. Typically I like digging into other people's brains to see how they work but have recently shifted my focus to my own. I know it's not an exact science. I've taken a few tests online and I've gotten INTJ, INTP, and ISTP. I try to be as honest as possible but it seems that my answers can change sometimes depending on what kind of mood I'm in.

Because I'm constantly trying to "improve" myself and expand my horizons, I sometimes feel like I'm answering the questions with the wrong answers. It's not so much an honesty thing as it is me feeling legitimately torn between more than one answer.
For example, when solving problems do I use hard facts/evidence or follow emotion? It seems to depend on the situation for me. I can definitely use facts to justify something very efficiently, but at the same time override that decision with doing what feels right. Which one I choose is a bit of a toss-up and depends on the situation and my mood.

Looking for opinions from those more experienced with all of this as much of it is still very new to me.

Feel free to ask any questions that may give better insight :)

In the meantime I'll continue searching though the forums to look for additional clues.

We can try to help you, but tbh online typing of randoms is limited in it's accuracy. You seem like a reasonable guy who can be honest about yourself to yourself, thus I recommend you to dwelve a little deeper into typology; learn the 8 cognitive functions and study the function stacks of those 3 types you identified with. That will get you far, and let you ask better questions!

Most people who wanna get typed aren't up for making that effort sadly : (

By definition, the fact that you are able to go through the thought process, but then do what feels right according to your mood, makes you sound more of a feeler. T comes with a certain consistency, in that you rarely have what you consider the logical decision be over-ruled by the emotions. That said, none of the types offered are feeler types (Two Ti doms and a Te aux!), so perhaps something is being missed.

Cherry Cola is correct to direct you to the functions for a further understanding. The dichotomies are an over-simplification, and are to be largely ignored if you want an accurate read.

Also, you may want to conduct your business here. At this moment in time we have 17 people waiting to have someone to type and bicker over.

INFJ or ENTJ. If you would have presented a genuine self-strengthing joke, I could know which. Now, I'm clueless. :)

When focusing on T/F, don't confuse the Feeling functions with being just another way to say "emotions without rhyme or reason". It's also about values, ethics, etc.
