Hey everyone!

Long time lurker. To say this is my first time posting would be untrue (I've posted a few shitty stories here under a different name), but this is my first introduction, so take it as you will.

I write, in a lot of different formats, about a lot of different stuff. Right now, my current projects involve a comic book and a children's book. I can't draw worth a goddamn, so I have beautiful and talented illustrators help me out with that. That being said, if you're an illustrator and would like to work on something, hit me up!

I am also fully prepared to accept Cthulhu as my tentacled Lord and Savior.

Glad to be here!

Great subject for a children's book.

Reminds me of a dream I had last night, I was in hell apparently and there were these human like things, as it was explained to me they're like ghosts but whereas a ghost is a spirit without a body these were bodies without spirits. At first I'm not impressed, they're just zombies I think, now they see me and start attacking, so I'm dicing and stabbing them with a rusty shortsword. Then start doing weird things like pulling their guts out of their open wounds, trying to strangle me with their intestines, repurposing the bones, muscles and organs of the fallen, pulling each other apart and stitching together new monsters.

It was gory, wasteful, horrific and when I was sufficiently shocked by it all the voice continues, asking me why I'm horrified by what are only just things made of parts, explaining that I wasn't being attacked by individual monsters or a hivemind but rather my own sensitivity to a ridiculous notion, that the matter bodies are comprised of is different to anything else.

Everything else in the world starts turning into bloody flesh and the voice concludes "you need to be desensitised".

Another writer is always welcome :D

Aye, welcome just.

Just be careful that you don't equate will with choice, that is all.

Be free to decide for yourself on that matter, because as unfounded as it may be, you might actually have the will to do it.

Great subject for a children's book.

Isn't it? I've been told multiple times that I'm the last person who should be writing a kid's book, but hey! The contrarian in me tells me to do what's foreign to me, and so a kid's book it is. I live by synthesis, by sublimating opposites.

And to Cherry Cola (as I haven't yet figured out how to quote multiple times in the same post [what is that number next to the name?]), I would say that I'm not asking you to choose how you take it, I'm just allowing you to take it as it comes.

But perhaps I'm slipping into pedantry? Of course I am.

Can anyone recommend any medieval-based comics that aren't Berserk?
