Hi everybody! I'm glad to find these forums where I can share with fellow aliens the vicissitudes of being "weird" and a "too normal" world!

What to say about me?

I'm a 21 (almost 22) girl from Argentina, people often describe me as the artsy girl that dresses like a boy, never talks and thinks too much. That's quite accurate. I'm always reading or watching movies (I hate all romantic stuff, I prefer mystery novels/stories, philosophy, psychological thrillers, interesting documentaries). I draw with pencils and a graphic tablet, I write novels, play the piano, like all kinds of music as long as they're.. "polyphonic" (in the sense that they have many layers with unusual sounds) and they aren't latin, pop or techno (I like everything from blues to deafening thrash metal, though I tend to like more prog rock bands). I take up random hobbies until I get the hang of them, then move onto anothers. My model in life is Leonardo Da Vinci, I prefer thinking and doing than saying. When I speak it's probably to correct someone, make puns, make sure people know I disagree with what they're saying, or to explain my own, weird hypothesis on the subject. I don't sugarcoat things, most of the times because I don't realize I shouldn't have said what I said that way until too late. Too many emotions make me nervous! I don't believe in any god, horoscope or written destiny.

I don't need to add the constant thirst for knowledge (and subsequent addiction to hyperlinks), because I believe it's common to all INTPs, isn't it?

I'm a member of TypologyCentral too, but I'm trying to get to know more animals from my species, hopefully I'll find many I can share things in common with here! ;)

Well, I'm open to any questions and suggestions. I hope to have a great time here! *trying to smile in a way others may understand as sympathy and then remembering no one can see me*

Hey, thanks!!

I have 4 (unfinished) novels, but I want to finish one before the year ends to submit it in a contest (earning money by being creative sounds like the best way of earning it). They vary in their content, but they're all kind of cyberpunk. Revolutions, weird technology, meetings in ridiculously filthy, underground bunkers... there's only one about "normal" life, but it's about a psycho actor that confuses his real life with the fictional character he's portraying (so not normal, haha)

I draw people, I'm still a noob when it comes to the graphic tablet, so I'm not capable of composing those breath-taking "art concept" landscapes (I will someday, I'm sure). My profile pic is a drawing. Oh, perfect! When I find the thread, I'll post some of my drawings, I'm still trying to discover where everything is here ;)

Mmmmh, well inflation is making things hard for everybody. Supposedly we're on holidays but nobody left Buenos Aires because there's no money. Other than that is great. People here are like ESFP party animals and nothing is taboo, so you probably can say you eat living dogs for dinner and still make friends..

Lol, you're 'quippy', and you're English is decent.
What's your education level, and is the whole of your heritage Argentinian?

Your novels sound fun, I like the sound of 'em, be sure to keep me posted upon completion.

Thank you! :) Oh, my English is decent as long as it's written. My verbal skills drop to -500, because I can't say most sounds that don't exist in my native language. I also have trouble with prepositions. One day I'll get them right, one day...

I'm a student! I was studying Architecture but it was stressing me out, and I wasn't at my best (emotionally) so I dropped and now I'm studying Curatorship and Art History. I'm happy with the career, so this is the path I'm going to follow.

Only my parents are Argies, the rest are Italian. But I've never learnt Italian because I don't like how it sounds, haha

I will!! If I win the contest, I'll send you a copy ;)

Welcome to the hidden cave!

I do this so much, a few stuff became seasonal, eventually I'm getting a pattern.

Tell me about it.. >.<'

F*** lol, I did this too, but because I was stupidly happy at the time.

Also if you know how to draw persons, you are not far from doing the stuff.
Personally I found hard draw people, I use to do faces in high school, of my female friends. I loved to draw the hair and eyes, but the rest was difficult for me. I mean the shape of the human being is so, accurate. If you put a bit off, it will look clearly weird.
Just practice and you get there! Post some of you work!

Hey! Thanks! I guess it's something we all INTPs have in common, then ;)

And yes, drawing living things is so complex and needs to be accurate (unless you're doing something stylized, like in comic books, where real proportions don't have a saying).. when I find something worth showing, I will post it!

Welcome, and yes, your novel ideas sound quite interesting.

Thanks and thanks! :)

Sorry I didn't reply as promptly as I wanted, I was dealing with final exams!

Hello. Are you one of those argie emo kids?

No, I don't think I'm emo. In fact, I hate any kind of label that tries to generalize people (any label beyond "human"). Are Argies known to be emo?! I didn't know... probably because I spend too much inside my fortress..

citizen erased is a quite cool muse song, i used to listen to them a lot ;D

Hey! Good to know there are Muse fans here. It's my favourite song from my favourite album (of them, I like lots of other bands too)

Hey, cereal killer, what's up?! ;)
