The IMAGINE Acronym​

Hopper came up with the acronym called "IMAGINE" to encapsulate the strategy of the program:

I stands for intention — The intention being to strengthen alternative neural circuitry and moving the focus away from symptoms in order to change the fight-flight-or-freeze response and normalize limbic system function.

M for motivation — It's not an overnight fix, so you need to find the motivation to do the exercises daily.

A for awareness and association — You need to become aware of how limbic system impairment affects your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. When you catch those thoughts, emotions and behaviors, you'll want to redirect your brain in that moment into an alternate route so that it doesn't continue down the neural pathways associated with the impairment. You also need to look at your associations. What kind of associations have you created with stimuli that might be activating the threat centers in your brain on a continuous basis, and how can you change these associations?

G for gain — It's important to recognize the gains you make throughout your retraining process. "This is interesting because we all have an innate negativity bias, meaning we're going to notice what's going wrong before we notice what's going right," Hopper says. "If you have limbic system impairment, that negativity bias can be magnified because of the impairment itself."

I for incremental training — It's a form of neural shaping that helps strengthen alternative neurocircuitry by exposing yourself to small amounts of stimulus to help retrain your brain to respond differently to it.

N for neurological and emotional rehearsals — "There's a part of the program where we use our imagination and visualization," Hopper says. "The great thing about imagination is the brain does not know the difference between what's real and what's imagined. There is no end to how we can use our imagination to help in retraining the brain." Using guided visualization, you can alter your neural chemistry. When in fight-flight-or-freeze response, you release a lot of cortisol, adrenaline and norepinephrine. Using this guided visualization technique, you can stop the production of those stress hormones and increase production of feel good hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins.

E for environmental awareness — Last but not least, you need to assess your day-to-day environment and create the most pristine and beautiful healing environment for yourself.

For me Ti is invisible ergo unconscious function.
I guess with age this function becomes more conscious.
Ne is conscious and facing the world and connecting the net of data in line with Ti and Si.
Si feeds Ne and Ti activates Ne.
So I think in Ti. I talk in Ne.
I experience in Si.
Fe is social dynamic. It tells me where my Ti is welcome, where my Ne is welcome and it tells me where my Si is welcome.
Generally though Ti is work, Ne is expression of Ti and Si the body of mind and maybe there is feedback loop with body as well.
Fe is hard from me, because if my Fe is too disharmonious than my Ti can get affected. My Ne then tends towards negative and paranoid. My Si gets triggered in pattern of negative emotion and expectations.

Generally I would say my Ti is always divergent in sense, but when situation forces my Ti to act what makes me act convergently is my Fe.
Ergo happy Fe makes my Ti go into superman mode.
Unhappy Fe makes my Ti go into defensive, thinking, and aggressive intelligence, as well it tends to be argumentative and skeptical and of course hyper fixated on finding errors in reasoning.
Fe also reacts to strain.
Ergo at work if my Ti gets strained my Fe internally gets angry and forces my Si to feed data to find error.

Ne can also be passive and seemingly unexpressed, in social situations where Ne is just listening and being relaxed and thinking about what is being said in objective terms and subjective terms alike. Mostly objective.

I think divergent thinking is problem solving strategy when analytical thinking is not doing its job. Ergo when my analytical side of Ti fails and is in error my convergent thinking transforms into branching divergent thinking. Or if my Ti does not have time to analyze it goes into divergent and then into Ne. Depending on my Fe +/- whether I am working on avoiding a problem or solving a problem for reward my my Ti and Si react differently and my Ne expresses differently.
When my brain is in damage control zone my Ne is reactive.
When my brain is building zone my Ne is constructive.
