Personal attacks?!

Calling me inauthentic and non-transparent. You must not know me very well because most people see me as an incredibly authentic person, and I don't hide my motives, so you are off your rocker here.

This whole "What's in it for me" thing is tiring.

Calling me inauthentic and non-transparent.

I didn't call you those things. I said this didn't feel authentic and that I needed transparency before I engage:
Given the tensions between us recently this doesn't feel authentic and I need transparency before I engage.

The reason it felt like there wasn't transparency, is because there wasn't, and you were explicit about this:

You don't need to know the purpose right away. You can just answer it.

The reason it didn't feel authentic to me was explained here:
You haven't given me a reason to want to participate. I'm not onboard with what looks so far to me like endless clarifications. No conversation we've ever had has instilled in me the confidence in you to lead me blindly down a path and believe it will be worth it.

Given the tensions between us recently this doesn't feel authentic and I need transparency before I engage.

Why are you so evasive?

This was more of a personal attack than anything I said. You didn't say I was evading, you said I was evasive.

You must not know me very well because most people see me as an incredibly authentic person, and I don't hide my motives, so you are off your rocker here.

This whole "What's in it for me" thing is tiring.

OT. You are being harrassy. I have multiple times tried to disengage and you keep hassling me. If you're getting tired of the chase then just fucking stop and leave me alone. I don't owe you anything. Where you get this entitlement to monopolising my time is beyond me.

The initial point of "it's literally just me" was proven wrong. Fluffy thinks God exists so you are wrong to think it's literally just you. That's the end of it. Good day.

Okay, way to ignore everything I actually said, but you clearly don't want to have a real conversation, so whatever.

Also, way to declare yourself the victor and then nope out of the conversation.

Y'all please this is my thread and it started so wholesome and communicative, why must we devolve everything into conflict. I thought we were above this.

What really spooked me I got very similar readings on several different youtube channels.
Same major arcana cards constantly same shit.
Yeah, it's genuinely scary, I get that totally. Whenever I've had my cards read by people I've met who believe in that, it's been ridiculously accurate. Idk what it is, but it doesn't make sense to me.

Also, so many people fit their astrology signs. I know astrology is false, but people really can be a Leo or Scorpio at times.

It's weird. It makes me question things, but that makes it fun. I still don't believe in it because logically it makes zero scientific sense, but that feeling of something bigger resonates in all of us I suppose.

Now, if I saw a genuine, real ghost, it would probably send me into a real existential crisis. Not because of the spooky ghost itself, but because it would shatter everything I've built in my mind to be "real" and my entire worldview would be broken beyond repair

If that ever happens I'll write you from a mental hospital

tarot cards are actually fun, and at least provide a means to reflect on life a little bit from different angles

but i see why they "work"; they are general enough to enable you to insert your own interpretations. And also you might tend to look at them when you are dealing with changes and challenges in life, which makes it look like the cards predict changes and challenges

I wonder what's your take on spirituality? Is it useful, valid on a personal level? Are you absolutely down to earth then on all things? Are there any controversial things that you could believe in given the evidence, or lean towards being agnostic about?

While I don't believe in demon summoning I'm also very superstitious about it. In the sense that I wouldn't let you invite me to a demon summoning ritual on the off chance that it works and our souls are getting devoured or worse. I get this visceral gut reaction to stay away from anything dark or satanic because the whole anti-humanist culture is creeping me out.

As for witchcraft, astrology, religion. Tarot seems really fun to do, just to imagine and think about things. They are all like fantasy systems of magic. A decent source of inspiration for running tabletop games or writing.

Aliens on earth? We don't have evidence to prove or disprove, but the chances are pretty slim. Given the magnitude of the claim we could assume it's not real.

Yep , this is exactly it. It just tricks your ego into making it seem relevant to you, because these were the cards "chosen" for you

If people want to be spiritual I won't oppose at all. For some people it really helps them make peace with everything. And that's great. But I've very much chosen an absolute full-stop NO to all spiritually. It's simply where I find peace.

Even if I got diagnosed with cancer, I still don't think I could be agnostic. I might pray a bit just because that's what you do, but I don't think any part of me would ever really believe it.

While I don't believe in demon summoning I'm also very superstitious about it.

Ah, okay. Next time I'm at a demon summoning ritual I'll be sure not to invite you, kuoka :)
