A fun, albeit challenging cyberpunk FPS made by the same people who made Painkiller, and then Bulletstorm after EA bought them.

This is the game's site. It has a pretty awesome trailer, and a free demo on steam. The only two major criticisms I have for it are that it has an intangible plot-line, and that it tries the old-school hordes of enemies thing, but forgets that this involves truckloads of weapons and health classically.

I suspect the only reason, The. Only. Reason, why the enemies are robots is to bring down the rating to "Parental Guidance" or something like it, so they're just bloodless palette swapped monsters.

If the main antagonists are something stupid, well that doesn't bode well for the rest of the game, sure it may be fun but since I'm not 10yrs old I'll be taking my money elsewhere.

Granted. In my opinion, their previous creation, painkiller was far superior. Shooting helldemons with shurikens and lightning...

Yes, the cleanup should be with a mop, not a broom. Also, even though the plot seemed to be less coherent than a drunk druggie, it seemed to have at least a small amount of thought put into it. So, maybe that was the reason? No. Of course not. Never assume that video game developers would choose not to put blood in it.
