Electronic harassment, or psychotronic torture,[1] or electromagnetic torture[2] is a conspiracy theory, usually a delusional belief in harassment via electronic "mind control". Psychologists have identified evidence of auditory hallucinations, delusional disorders[3][4][5] or other mental illnesses in online communities supporting those who claim to be targeted (and call themselves "Targeted Individuals", or "TI"s). [6][7] Many of these people claim that government agents make use of electric fields, microwaves (such as the microwave auditory effect) and radar to transmit sounds and thoughts into their heads, referring to technology that they say can achieve this as "voice to skull" or "V2K" after an obsolete military designation.

Well, Uncle Sam does have these capabilities, and they obviously use/d them on some people. I've read US documents confirming that the technology was operational by at least '96. (So I'd presume that they were fully operational in the 80's)

How do you sort the real cases from the imaginary? I don't know.

I had the documents on my old computer.. Not sure if I'll find them now...
Here's one at least:

Why?

I mean the US government has plenty of prisoners willing to sign a waiver for a reduced sentence, so what do they gain by experimenting on unconvicted citizens?

Kicks, innit.

Never ceases to be relevant:

Plus, prison is a business, why loose clientele.
Why does Uncle Sam do half the things he does?
And after the whole syphilis thing, I'm sure they be hard pushed to recruit from the criminals anyway.

*sigh* It's just so... boring.

If I was in a position to experiment upon citizenry without oversight or consequence I'd be developing BCI technologies, psyops hasn't been cool since the 60's.

Electromagnetic waves do fuck all, microwaves are good for torture but not much else, the psychological effects of ultrasound and infrasound are well known (it's not like you need military grade equipment to test it), all the really significant effects require drugs and even college freshmans can synthesize psychotropics these days.

Forgive me for not taking your word on it...

Psy-ops are so 1960's..

Yea sure. Our most recent psy-op brigade is in the making right now. Called battalion 77.

Maybe some clarification...

Outside of criminality and government, more general a citizens or small groups capacity for torture, who cares of the psychological technical significance in traditional conceptual therapies when a mental disturbance could become a 'constant randomized background to foregrounding hum' with deceptive significant utterances automatically punctuated and algorithmically sifted most fundamentally your nephew could type the lines. Insanity, disorientation, inability to continue stable function all at the victims inability to connect to the open-minded-attempted non-afflicted could find purpose in maintaining an empirical bias while persecuting the free at heart.

I do think this is concerning given zeitgeist - critical media manipulations. Isolated others due to evolution/innovation to be displaced, among technological primitive and currency clashings(Economically/Journalistic/Psychological). Fearful grandmas maintaining an order at the expense of ignorance( Back in government for emphasis ), if you can see this... I don't feel i'm living among the most considerate.

These waves can also be used to control an individuals motor. I have not come to the links just yet*.

Maybe this is more clear.

Me neither.

We live in an era of electromagnetic/microwave/radiation bombardment. Can't be good.

Just look at the increase of Cancer cases. Just look at the state of the human race.

More likely they just use drugs/torture/deprive basic needs (as in all of them), while using subliminal messanging.

I don't think that electromagnetic fields are viable though, that alone shouldn't be able to affect the mind in a significant enough manner, particularly if you want targeted undetectable results. More invasive procedures are probably needed.

Less specific uses are probably viable such as triggering specific emotional responses within the human brain. Which in itself can be quiet useful.

Regardless of whether psychotronics are real, this is what our police are doing:
Radiation drive-bys
Using LRADs to disperse crowds

This is local police, not border patrol, not the Coast Guard, not CIA, nor the Marines. Your normal everyday policeman being trained to be militarized against civilians.

Anyone thinking psychotronic tech is impossible should realize that military tech is more advanced than any consumer or municipal law enforcement technology. Anyone thinking they wouldn't use such tech on civilians is hopelessly naive.

Calling it a pseudoscience is a misguided distraction, keeping military tech secret and the extent of gov't science unknown comes with the terrortory.

Bloody Bing?!

I write software using MS Visual Studio for Microsoft applications. Bing offers the best results in regards to this and so out of habit I find myself using it all the time.

I just read a bit about battalion 77... I'm not surprised but it is sorta ominous.
What's the purpose of groups like this? Is it just to 'protect' people? Or is it to have the upper hand in case there's some serious cyber warfare in the future? Are they planning something?

I believe that their job specifically involves distributing state propaganda, and combating what has been labelled 'Conspiracy Theory' by the state...

Such as David Cameron calling the public's Elite Sex Abuse investigations a witch hunt born from Conspiracy Theory.

When in actual fact, we are completely vindicated in our efforts.

Its US vs the State.

On a shit phone atbpresent, will cover more later.
