Neutral Good.
(I was raised to be Lawful Good, but it didn't take.)

The consistency here is that I want to help and support people, my intentions are always positive.

If rules help me do that, then cool, I'll follow them.
And if the rules get in my way, well, then screw them.

Rules and order exist to serve people.

Chaotic Neutral. I can give a shit about good or bad. I do what I feel like, as long as I get my way. I don't even know anyone that would fit into the "good" category.

Neutral Evil
When a normal person see somebody get hurt on TV and laughs at it, they feel horrible for enjoying the pain of another; however I've accepted that I'm a sick soulless basterd, and I'm happier for it. By this reasoning I'm not really evil; I'm just an amoral person who happens to enjoy the sort of humour most people would associate with evil.

If being good was anywhere near as much fan as being evil, I'd probably be Chaotic Neutral.

Edit: I bet Melkor's Chaotic Evil

Melkor on this forum, I assume, not the Tolkien character. I think he is Neutral Evil. I would agree that Morgoth from Tolkien's stories is Chaotic Evil.

Melkor is a classic example of a Lawful Good unleashing his repressed Chaotic Evil in an anonymous forum.
You're maybe correct. This forum could be his DnD board. He's merely selecting an alighnment to be with his persona, etc. However, surely a Lawful Good person would acknowledge that this is a medium attached to reality and his morals remain valid through his actions?

I teter between neutral and chaotic evil, though I suppose that makes me chaotic.

I think the way someone would play Black & white is a good way to really test there alignment. I helped some old lady find her son till i got bored of looking and decided it was more fun to smash her house in with a giant boulder, and fling her into the ocean.

i am right on the edge between neutral good and chaotic good. tough to choose. i think if i had a cause to care enough to fight for i would be chaotic good, but my pness causes me to lean toward neutral good when no cause (i do right just because it is right, but disregard laws that have nothing to do with morality and/or just disregard the law in general but am morally inline with a lot of the law).uhm . . . i dont know if this makes sense but whatever

Yeah, your point is?

Admirable work, tough but fair.

I think I'm between Chaotic Neutral and Chaotic Good. Although my extreme dislike for Jack Bauer makes me want to claim the neutral to avoid being in that company at all. :P

I'm Neutral Good... but I had fun sacrificing villagers to the fire and having my giant furry tiger eat them like grapes. ("No! OMG! Please, goddess, help us! Why do you shun us? NooOooOoOO!!!! Dadddy? MommY!!!!" screeech)

I would just never deign of doing that for, uh, real.

(Too much guilt.)

Wasn't really a tough decision, I just did whatever I felt like doing at the time. I change faster then the wind.

And this reminds me I can't wait to terrorize people in inFamous

I voted Chaotic Good. It's a tough call though. I have alot of 'evil' thoughts and I laugh at others' expense quite a bit. However, I still consider my deepest motivations to be basically 'good', despite the subjectivity of the term. Plus, while I may laugh at someone's expense, it's usually because of my unusual ability to see humor in almost anything. I would still do what I could to help that person afterward, and it's unlikely that I'd be to blame for their misfortune, as hilarious as it may be.

The chaotic part fits my views that society is ultimately chaotic and that order is in many ways an illusion. I also don't trust any social institution to get things right, even though I might agree with them at times.

If this were any other forum, I would say that everyone here is Lawful Neutral, but you guys might be unique after all.
I vote True Neutral, as I see myself as a mostly impartial skeptic of reality.

Neutral from a law vs chaotic and good vs evil axis base. Depends upon the person and character though. There are ways to get around alignment and wreck the game though... although it doesn't need much to wreck it.

If you are curious, check out the Wish and the Word on the DnD wiki. There are plenty of builds and concepts there if you are interested....
