That's a given.

Yet some people believe they can stop it or at least slow the rate of decay.

SENS Research Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that is transforming the way the world researches and treats age-related disease.

The research we fund at universities around the world and at our own Research Center uses regenerative medicine to repair the damage underlying the diseases of aging. Our goal is to help build the industry that will cure these diseases.

It's been going on for decades, I've already got lots of canned food stockpiled on my girlfriend's farm.

The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis.

-Dante Alighieri

it would please me greatly if the darkest places in hell were instead reserved for those who plagued me with patent non sequiturs

Nice outlook. Yeah, as health science progresses we can lessen the decay. And with healthy choices you can lessen it a good bit now. But it's inevitable, and that's where the beauty of it lies.

I saw a friend of mine die of AIDS, which means you die of just about everything. It would definitely up the ante to have more misery than that, yet he went out well. What is this greater misery I'm supposed to see? Are you predicting that I will have a mid-career change to a war zone correspondent?
