Are there any movies that truly scare you?
I think it is difficult to find a movie/show that truly makes me uncomfortable.

I saw The Exorcist when I was twelve, and alone in my house, and that warped me for a few weeks but that was a long time ago.... Since it is October, I thought I would ask.

I've always been haunted by The Ring. I know, it's not a very plausible story.. but the idea of that girl coming out of my family's TV in the living room and doing that creepy crawl/walk down my hallway towards my bedroom has kept me up many a night. I don't really like scary movies, though. Either a) I think they're terribly cheesy and predictable or b) I find them cheap with their sound tactics (of course you'll jump when they blast a sound effect) and use of blood and gore. My sister is pumped to see that new movie 'Paranormal Activity'. It kind of intrigues me, I guess. I rarely seek out the genre though.:slashnew:

Hmmm. This is difficult to answer. I'm not easily grossed out at all. I have no problem with blood guts and gore. There was this one scene of a zombie movie I watched that was a little difficult. A zombie reached into someone's mouth and pulled the person's intestines out through their mouth so the zombie could snack. That is probably the only thing I've seen in a movie that made me go "Oh wow....a bit much perhaps?"

As far as scary movies are concerned, all of them work for me. Anything that jumps and goes "RAWR" is enough to scare me. Any typical slasher film/ghost film or whatever scares me. I just startle easily. I love it though!

I watched The Shining when I was only ten years old which caused me to want a night light for the next two months. These days I can't find a single horror movie that actually frightens me. For the last few months I've been watching classic scary movies, like Psycho, Silence of the Lambs, Halloween just to get a thrill but the only one that has truly creeped me out has been Birds.

No movies scare me to be honest, but Audition is probably the scariest I've seen.

Japanese people are sick bastards when it comes to horror films. I don't know how the fck they do it, but I think it's the way Asian people look with white make-up on.

That one Saw movie where the girl falls into a pit of hypodermic needles. Saw doesn't scare me, needles make me cringe.
