I am you, you are me, we are God..
God is not a separate being from Us.. really, the thing we call God is at the center of the human spirit, all that we are and our deepest yearnings. It is a universal reality of the human psyche, the duality of the Self and the Whole of Humanity.
You are one expression of this Divine Equation. In the specificity of your traits you seem separate, but in fact you are like one set of numbers that relates to other sets in a long formula. You are not what you think you are. Not what they told you you are, nor is the principle of your existence to be found in what they said you should be. You are part of a sacred clockwork, each element, each life in its time, is a precious and necessary piece of the Whole. You are formed in the image of God and of the Devil, of all that it is to be human.
As it is said, God is within you and you are within it. This is the truth of the duality of the Self - you are both your own Being and part of the Divine Body of humanity. Losing sight of either side of the truth of human existence is a great cause of suffering - of fear, emptiness, longing.. searching for what feels so far away and untouchable.. We search for the Meaning of Life, but are often unaware that what we are really searching for is the reality of the Self.
God is Love.. what does this really allude to? What is love?
When the illusion of right and wrong dissipates, we stop fighting with ourself and others. Without judgement or separateness there is no reason for nonacceptance. Nonacceptance is synonymous with fear, acceptance with love. Where fear ends, love begins, as does understanding. Finding the Self is finding God is finding acceptance. Acceptance of both elements of the Self denotes acceptance of all Others, it is the state of perfect peace and balance described by many religions as the state of God's Love.
God is not a separate entity who's expectations we must live up to. It is the Archetype of the Self - the realization that awaits us in self-actualization. It is the state of the Whole Human.
