I was going through some old photos at my moms house, and for the first time felt like they were of someone else or just had very little relationship to me now. I took some photos of the photos with my ipod, so forgive the quality. Of course then my partner says, "look, now you are doing the same things you were doing then". Hmmm...

I'm curious about reflections of "adult" selves in childhood images.

I feel very disconnected from past pictures of me, especially childhood. I can remember my ideas and inner state, but the physical connection is not there. Pretty much a stranger.

Still, there's a picture of me when I was five that is very contemplative and I can still see part of my self in that.
