People change and their philosophies change.

Is there a pattern of preference for one philosophy over another during certain ages?

Or, are there generational philosophical preferences?

Or, are there MBTI related philosophical preferences?

Do INTPs tend to subscribe to one philosophy over another?

Wisdom is knowing ourselves and knowing others.

That is how we can take the correct course of action.

I mean it depends. Subscribing - means actually living according to it, or does it mean just entertaining it.
Also is the philosophy a strategy or framework for dealing with problems, or is philosophy inherent part of your lifestyle or you even identify the principals as part of who you are.
Its kind of hard to say.

I don't think we do. I was high on existentialism, but another test showed high on hedonism too. Ok, correction,
I am the epicurean, I try it all, but I stop when I'm full.

I like Las Vegas for example, totally loved all the food and indulgences. Quite possibly gluttony at times, but I stop at being full.
(Food and fun). I do indulge in a bit of gambling, but I know to bank it fast and get out fast when I win and I put $ in envelopes that make me only spend an alloted amount per day. And, I've only been to Las Vegas once or twice, so its not an actual habit, but I still LOVE the buffets and the excitement of it.

What Is the difference between an hedonist and epicurean?
There are actually three schools of thought involved in this: Stoic, Epicurean, and Hedonist. Imagine that you really like pie. The Epicurean will eat as much pie as makes them happy but not so much that they will get sick. The Stoic will not eat pie because it is possible that a time might come when he can’t get pie. The Hedonist will eat pie until he throws up. That’s a basic overview.

And, oh how I love apple pie with coffee for breakfast.
Things taste REALLY good when you have sensitive taste buds, and things feel really good when you are sensitive in general, so I think that explains it. How sensitive a person is physically likely has a lot to do with your philosophy. More sensitives are likely epicureans.

Adding some links with tests on this for later:

For the test above, I got Cynicism. Well, self-interest is the name of your game. Everything is BS and everyone is full of it. While that may be mostly true, you'd be surprised to find kindness lurking in the weirdest corners!

I'm Plato from the test above. You like consistency in your theory of how the world works - even if it makes things a little complicated. You might feel like the truth is out there, but the world is not all it seems to be. When you've found truth, you have a moral obligation to help people who do not understand it. Order is extremely important. the "just" man is one that acts as a man sh

I got Skepticism for the test above

Well, I'm a combination of philosophies apparently and each test is so different that I'm not sure they are good tests.
