I was doing a little in-dept research on other personalities and such, and I came across a forum that is very familiar to this one, and even its site name (ex: intpforum.com) is also the exact same thing except you change the P to a J.
http://intjforum.com/

Maybe it's just me, but I find this interesting. I wonder if there are other forums with a close relation in name and Style. I guess the reason for why is because I like to look through there threads and see what they talk about since there the closest when compared to INTP's. I have actually seen some threads in there forum that are also here!

INTJforum is kind of a sister forum to this, founded by one of our first madmins immediately after. We are not in contact, but maintain that especial relationshop only sisters and angels know.

So I am scanning their "ultimate list of famous INTJs"

First of all, I can think of hundreds of INTJs that they have not added, but more importantly:

Dood, Ayn Rand is clearly an INTP. I don't really care for her work, but that doesn't mean the INTJS get to claim her.
Secondly, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eisenhower are ENTJs.

How in the world could they even Think about classifying Arnold as an Intj???????
Seriously?

Edit:

You think there adding names just for mere speculation?
It's rather hard to believe that a guy of his caliber is considered an INTJ. NTJ is somewhat understandable. Even Ayn Rand doesn't have a reason to be on that list, Like you said, she is surely a INTP.

We registered in intjforum before intpforum. It's similar except the threads seems to divert away from fantasy.

I guess it depends on your criteria, but I consider INTPs more closely related to ENTPs than INTJs.

I'm thinking it depends on your level of P, T, I, and N.

The mind...
*sigh*

You plotted a revolt and the destruction of their death star didn't you?

RIP death star. We will never forget you.

I belong to both forums and really like them both. In my experience, well developed INTJs and INTPs tend to get along fabulously. We both tend to be interested in the same things and topics but we look at them in different ways. Together, through combining our functions we know all and dominate the MBTI and the world, muahah! Perhaps the forum similarities stem from this?

I visited the INTJ forum briefly as well, and lost my patience with the tone of the moderators.......

INTJ Forum is okay. I've read some pretty interesting discussions over there. You don't get the tendency towards exploration of a topic like you do here, but the people have some unique perspectives and they defend them like a newborn. I quite like reading things there, because while this place is definitely cool, you do often get a different approach there, which can be nice at times.

INTP Central always seemed annoying though. And I've browsed a few others, like Personality Cafe, but it seems that most forums have awful layouts and are not very user-friendly. This one is much better in that dept., imo.

I'm signed up to many MBTI related forums. Including the one you posted, where I'm Asylum.

Intpcenteral is only interesting because there are more individuals there. But the more people, the more utter bullshit.

I'm also signed up to an INFP forum. Can't remember my log on info though. May sign up for an ENTP one.
