So i almost got this idea to materialize on a site called interpals, but didn't work so ended up using that music for a 3-piece 7-string guitarist experiment with people who live in my town.

with enough habitual usage of the forum, this thread could potentially be some kind of "do things to one of the poster's tunes" area... sort of like quoting a post, but more fun and requiring more effort. i know there are several musicians on here, so it wouldn't be completely farfetched and impossible... just need enough activity to fall through.

i'd post something now to start, but as of now i have far too much end of semester work.

This sounds fun. I play the guitar and I do have this song I wrote for my niece. I will try to get a decent recording of it done.

I would love it if someone could add in a nice drum beat or something.

The song is kind of an upbeat Plain White T'ish type of song. I play an acoustic guitar in it.

Oh and I use Ableton live, so the file will be an ableton. I hope that's not a problem.

I'm in! I play the piano, bass guitar and guitar. There's a cello lying around somewhere here, but I don't know how to play it. Also got an egg shaker and some sort of African drum.
