The monosyllabic prefix in irregardless is exceptional [ampersand] redundant.

This is my most favourite post ever!

^ I fixed it for you! hahaha

lolll.

I changed the & symbol into [ampersand]

"... is exceptionally redundant. Ampersand." would work too.

Also, my first interpretation of the thread title was "Kind words."

I'm such a damn feeler.

Ever since these bdsm threads started popping up I have found the word "bondage" quite appealing in a bizarre, funny kind of way.

Cunnilingus.

I've always found it an awesome word. Not even because of the meaning, I mean... Come on just look at it.

I really like that word too. Though it might just be that I find it hard to pronounce. There's got to be something Freudian to that...:storks:

Pistachio. <---That's the one word I just can't seem to pronounce. I always say "spistachio" and I can't drop the "s" at the beginning.

Eviscerate. My favorite word by far.

Reminds me of this kid I went to summer camp with once. He was "Allergict" to peanuts.

I'm quite partial to dilacerate.

Yum.

Also, mind = blown upon discovery that neoplasm & pleonasm both exist.

Cunnilingus.

It looks like it should say cunninglinguist, to me anyway. Actually that sounds like a good idea for one of my other projects. I need to try to work that in.

Pistachio. <--I was like 7 or something and said it like piss tacos. I knew the nut, didn't know the word. Family never let me live that one down. Like the time I heard that Ricky Martin song and he is singing "livin la vida loca" but it was being played over a crappy restaurant sound system so I thought it was "licking the feet of locusts". Everybody laughed and called me retarded until I went with it and turned it into an entire parody song. I read a lot and ignored a lot of the popular media.

Catawampus<--I like this word and it seems like the appropriate creature (makes me think of a creature name) for the catacombs, instead of the minotaur. Then there was this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunt_the_Wumpus

I can't think of any words I really like that much to contribute and some have already been mentioned to death in other "words I really like threads", I will have to get back to this if one comes up. I've been resorting to dabbling in other languages, its a lot of fun. Search for "words with no english equivalent" and have a ball with that.
I'm slightly appalled at what has been done with the word "fetish". In Latin it just means "charm, sorcery" but it got word raped, imo. I mean it isn't really a stretch but still...I can't walk up to someone and say I'm going to fetish you. Although fetish does seem like a dirty word but only because it makes me think of the word fetid...ok, I'll stop before I get on a rant about other things. Like the fact that horror means scary and horrific means something bad happened. Terror means something scary but terrific means something good going on. What is the meaning of this? Is terrific a huge joke that got started but stuck? The Latin terrificus means frightening...so what gives....

Lots of posts querying the title of the thread.. Any suggestions for change?
"Words You are Fond Of." "Nice Words" doesn't admit to subjectivity.
