W00t!!! I've been playing riven lately.
Amazing game, despite being 13 years old really puts you into really insane/interesting/awesome/trippy mindset
the graphics are beautifully rendered.
The sound is awesome.
One of the best games of all time, i really want to get myst.

Ah, I last tried this game a four or so years ago... I was too young to fully appreciate it, and wasn,t getting anywhere. But yeah. I got into this daze whenever I played it. Twas pretty intense...

Now that you've mentioned it, I'm in the mood to try it again.

I finally beat Myst a few days ago, it only took me about 4 days. It's easier to play when your not 8 years old.

I really hate the 3D version of Myst, it doesn't have the same appeal IMO.

heh, im not sure if you are talking about the original.
i loved the original - but i wouldnt say the story was teh best.
the idea and concept of the story were great, but the acting out/presentation of it wasnt the best.. it was slightly cheesy.
however, it was still a great game. when i was younger i spent 10+hours never getting off the starting island.
then - i beat the game in like 3 hours one day when i stumbled across the disc in the basement.
