MBTI's you dont get along with

For some time now, I have been plagued with being at a loss to categorize all those people that I don't seem to get along with. It just seems like there is a whole group of people out there that I am never friends with, and often make enemies out of. I don't want any enemies, but it seems they can rarely tollerate my INTPness.

Anyway, they argue with(or ignore) me when my logic is unassailable, see my lack of respect for convention as some kind of personal attack or threat to the status quo, and never get my sense of humor.

Methinks they might all be XSFJs or something.

So my question is, have any of you identified any MBTI's that you have trouble getting along with, or that you think INTP's have trouble getting along with in general?

Extreme judgers, especially ESFJs, ESTJs. Primary Te/Fe annoys the hell of me.

ESFP's

I find them too physical, too loud, too sensitive to their own morals.
I found them to be extremely irritating, and most don't have any inspirations.
They also seem to believe in god or mysticism or both. Which takes me a bit off guard because I'm not interested in the subject.

It's probably because i've met a lot of ESFP idiots. Atleast J's have a plan and are calculated.

Though there are aspects of many types I don't like, I think it largely depends on whether or not the individual is a jerk or not, to me. Having said that I've only met one ESFJ I've liked, and our friendship is mostly built on fondly annoying the hell out of each other.

I think I've come to hate/have strong prejudices against Fi-doms, or anyone overtly demonstrating traits that might cause me to associate them as such.

I recognize that this probably isn't the wisest course of action, I just see/feel it happening anyways.

I don't know, I think that saying I don't get along with one type or another is too simplistic, too much of an over-generalization. If I don't get along with someone, this typically occurs on an individual level.

There are some characteristics that irk me as well, such as those who not only are loud, but can't seem to stop talking... it kind of... wears on me after a while.

Yeah, though, I don't think I could attribute that to one type without making a stereotype out of them. There's too much variation between individuals of any one type to make such a judgment.

This, but even so, the types whose tendencies I tend to conflict with most are predominately EJ, with ENTJ being the easiest to get along with. For EPs it depends on interpersonal closeness, IJs are pretty distant to me no matter how close we are, and other IPs are okay in general.

I usually cannot diagnose a Feeler until I am in the middle of a debate, and it becomes blatantly obvious. Generally, ExFJ's piss me off the most. Primarily because they are so overbearing with their opinion on a matter, it is usually based off of pure emotion or logic with so many holes you may as well not try. Essentially, after pointing out unarguable logic, they do not understand, they get angry, and they end up taking some half-ass and more baseless stance than before "I don't do the whole science thing, it doesn't matter".

If you are wrong, that is fine, I am wrong on a few things and I most likely don't know it, but if you rub in my face that I am wrong while you are the one that is? Let there be fire.

\rant. Wow...this was very ENTP of me. Me and my stupid middleman-ism.

Js..... usually with the T. Te is the embodiment of everything I hate. Also my incredibly in-your-face Fe dominant father.

+1, although Fe can be entertaining at times. Can't stand high J, or high S for that matter.

That's odd. Even in this thread it's predominately EJ/ESF/TJ/S/J without bringing in outside sources.

By Fi dom you mean IxFP right? Like I said in my earlier post, other IPs tend to be unproblematically okay. I know you have your own observations/experiences but it's interesting.

ESTP. an estp acquaintance of mine always tries to find flaws in everything im saying. I hate having to explain/repeat myself, and it seems like he does it just to piss me off.

INTJ. We're always bumping heads. Sometimes they're really cool though.

My best friends are ESFJ and ENFJ,

Meh, the premise of this thread is flawed, IMO.

True. But these generalizations can work to show what annoys us in certain people. For instance, I've never liked control freaks, people that try to befriend everyone, or that can't take anything seriously, that think life is a party, so MBTI ends up serving as categories's names. Some types tend to have more behaviors we deem as negative. The person may not be the type, but at least this is useful in communicating, there is a conceptual construction.

I've never been attracted to people that always talk about real stuff, about parties and whatever happened, but after MBTI now I can call them sensors. Obviously people are more complex than that, and even possible INTPs can be despised by me for various reasons. And it is stupid to judge a type only by its disagreeable potential.

I just don't get along with Es really.

I just don't like it when someone doesn't shut the fuck up.
That is relative but still.

I can't stand to be around ESTJ's for very long. They have a tendency to try and control/dominate that brings out the worst in me

To actually contribute something here last girl I dated was ENFJ. While we do maintain a kind of at-a-distance friendship still the relationship itself ended because it had reached a point where I've never been more irritated by anyone in my life, and voicing this irritation at times resulted in me being lectured on how I'm a big weirdo and need to "live life and quit thinking about everything so much." I'm INTJ by the way.

Needless to say, opposites might attract but that doesn't mean they stay bonded for long. ;)

I think the problem is, as we can't be certain of each others types, it's easy to categorise people we don't get along with under particular types (Sx seems to be the general trend).

I think it would be a mistake to vastly stereotype people this way. From best I can see most here like to see themselves as individuals yet cater to the INTP label. If people of other types can't vary to the degree that they might actually be A-ok people, and potential friends, then doesn't that imply that our very individuality is only an off-set of that allowed by the INTP type, and therefore a little meaningless.

My ESFJ friends are not company in the same way that my xNFJ ones are, admittedly. But saying "don't get along with x" seems a bit broad-sweeping when each type can be "intelligent" and "creative" in their own way. :)
