How the hell is England INTP?

Oh, nevermind. I can see it in Keep Calm and Carry On. They also have excellent talk shows.

My current location is classified.
I still don't get England being INTP. Culturally, maybe, but definitely not politically. There's a lot more ISTJ to it in my eyes.

I agree with the Israel area being ENTP. I'd also say that both ESTP and ISTP can be in Australia.

There are probably some crazy INTP scientists in Antarctica.

I think we should make one culture-based map and one politics-based. US is ESTJ for both.

Hilarious.

The UK is "must follow the rules" land.

Americans seem to universally believe that they can believe whatever they want (I), that "if you believe it, it will happen" (Ni) and don't give a toss if everyone hates them (TJ).

From what Scandinavians have said, everyone has to follow the group rules in their countries (very E).

North African / Middle Eastern culture is extremely ISTP.

mbti is not as scientific and rational as many believe it to be.

This map is worse.

I would assure you that majority of each of those regions are extroverts, period.
It's how humans are, extroversion is more congenial to collective survival in a primitive sense.

That fact alone makes this map unsubstantiated, not to mention all the other incongruities if I were more inclined towards dissemination directly after waking up.

It's cute and all, but I don't even understand why the chosen types were chosen. Is it based on some cultural stereotypes? Were they chosen at random? Looks like it was created by a European because that's the only region that's really broken up. (probably an INTJ from "Alpland", since it's the smallest region and the only one italicized)

Arabs are Thinkers?
Big time. They just make a joke of it in public, and pretend that they don't, like all STPs.

Is tribalism Thoughtful?
When you're in a tribe, there are lots of tasks that need to be done, that aren't handled by large organisations and aren't automated by complex gadgets produced in the millions by mass-production assembly lines. In the daytime, you're hunting all day, or working in the fields all day, or fixing and making tools all day. You have to concentrate on what you're doing, or crops aren't seeded properly, aren't harvested properly, or a wild animal catches one off-guard. In the evenings, clothes need to be repaired, and other jobs need to be done. Most of that life is very introverted.

Tribal gatherings are big deals, precisely because most of the time, the people in the tribe are focussing very much on their work, and don't have much time for idle chit-chat. So when they do get time to be social, they make a big deal of it.

You end up spending a lot of time by yourself, or focussing on your work and in your own head.

How are you today
Do you think entire cultures run like a certain type as opposed to simply mirroring them? For example, they might mirror an ENFJ in that value group harmony, Fe, while putting more emphasis say, on the Se Ni axis than the Si Ne axis due to the standard of literals, with less care on innovative thoughts/new or creative solutions aka inferior Ti? I guess this was already the premise, but anyway. Even if it was true, I don't think it would apply to the entire area. Most likely to smaller subcultures.

I live in the Philippines and I don't think our culture is ENTJ. It seems more ESFP if you ask me, although we do pay lip service to ESTJ. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but this map does not seem to make much sense. We might try to break it down to different countries instead because it's just too difficult to type an entire continent.

Also South America is generalized. Argentina is very different from the other countries, and seems more Thinker, at least in the capitol of Buenos Aires. I do agree that other Hispanic cultures seem ESFP

Islam is clearly more thoughtful (advanced) than Christianity.
The problem is the Arabs started searching into themselves after the Middle Ages, probably the reason why they are less developed.
Historically, the cultures that stop looking outside, and just look inside tend to be less developed

Cultures are largely dictated by a religion, ancestral traditions..
The very nature of Hinduism which asks you to focus on thinking deeply, and understanding yourself and 'liberation' and stuff, rather than following a list of "To Do" and "Not To Do" places a focus on 'IN' for example..

I think it's because of the Singaporeans. They tend to be ENTJ because of their financial sector. It's a silly map overall, though I guess you can have some discussions about stereotypes from it.

I echo Rook on this though, most people are extroverts in most of those nations. ex: China has 1.3 billion. It's hard to say that they're all ISTPs or even 'mostly' ISTP anyway (Chinese people are extroverted as hell). On the other hand America only has 300 mil, or 0.3 billion but then there's a obviously a variety of types there.

This is patent nonsense. Western descendants of Christendom outshine Muslims in every single way. Show me one valid statistic against it, and I will fold. Only someone embedded within the context of White Guilt would ever be capable of the form of doublethink required to deny the contradiction between your first statement and the second statement. There is a reason Easterners come to Western universities to study their own cultures and societies: We are more open and more accomplished. The Quran is also just awful.

I was just using ENFJ as an example, but yeah you have a good point with that.

Science =\= Thinking or Intellect
Science = Development
So, there is no real contradiction to what i said. Muslims sought to answer their problems by looking into themselves and changing their society. West sought to answer their problems by inventing stuff because their existing spiritual system could not give useful answers

Yes you are more open and accomplished meaning you are more developed, but how many of your actions do you have a reason for?
What is the basis for your decisions and actions in life, it is just plain life-experience.
Muslims on the other hand think of a spiritual way of answering daily problems, they have a deeper thought process which exceeds just the material well bieng.

Im not saying that is correct or wrong, but given the deeper insight into their lives, deeper thought into the purpose of life. Im just saying this makes them more thoughtful.
INTPs are way more thoughtful than extroverts, but this doesnt mean a country filled with INTPs will "develop"/"accomplish" more than a country filled with extroverts.
We, better than anyone should know that insight and intellect do not translate to happiness or accomplishment :king-twitter:

You don't think that meaning can be derived from tribal Feelings? You don't think tribal myths can be handed down through medieval sectarian lineages? You attribute more to Islam proper than even I do.
