Ok, so i'm really a cynical old INTPcentral vet.

Your avatar looks like Morpheus from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. But with goggles on.

i like neil gaiman. in theory. i haven't actually read anything by him except a few short stories and the very beginning of american gods, which i couldn't get through because the main character's name is shadow. ugh.

Shadow? That's almost as bad a main character named Pyro. Or Gizmo. Or Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way. Or Matt.

Welcome, cynic. :D

Yep. :)

Neil Gaiman is pretty rad, and I think Sandman is his best work by a long way. Or maybe I'm just a sucker for graphic novels. His collab with Terry Pratchett (Good Omens) was fun, too.

Bring us your weary, your crippled, your cynics of dust and lye and foxed paper scrolls!

Failing that... yeah... Deckard will do. ;)

:balance:

Just take a seat here on this dinky little coral atoll and enjoy the complimentary nibbles while we get the super-efficient wheels of empire to process your immigration paperwork.

err... there's a blank spot... starting from page one....

*burns papers*

Screw it.

Did it also say you're a replicant? Because you are.

No, but I can't pass those bloody captcha tests half the time, so I'm beginning to suspect.

Nine out of ten optometrists recommend INTPforum over other leading brands. ;)

*wheels Anthile away to install his missing Fe unit*

...psssttt... Anthile... if he's evil we can burn him later! ;D

Innocently created multiple accounts and such things are blissfully united in their own little nirvana, thus restoring the wholistic sense of self we know our divided people yearn for.

*saintly smile*

Such is the bounty of the grace of our kingdom.

Actually... I was sure we had captcha turned off here.... *narrows eyes*

You mean in general, right?

(I can never get those things either - takes me three goes on average.)

Yeah, i meant in general. The signup process had a couple human checks, but they were reading comprehension ones, not captcha.

I heard that the longer you spend at INTPCentral, the less INTP you become.
I think that is an incredibly loaded statement, and would take some time to deconstruct...

They are really INTJs who fancy themselves to be INTPs.

Hallo Deckard :p
Perhaps some are. There is a lot of diversity both there and here. Perhaps the tone of each site attracts two different subsets of INTPs; like attracts like.

:waves:

When I signed up, it asked me for a three letter word for headwear. I put cat, just to see what it would do. It rejected me.
I guess they forgot to program in a sense of humour.

The correct answer was bat. Welcome, universe34.

I've noted how little duplication in active membership there seems to be...

obviously we're all cross-lurking under cover of our alteregos. :phear:
