Based on past experiences with various fora (and fauna?), the premise of this hypothesis is rather weak and is not likely to stand up to vigorous testing. Not that anyone here is likely to give a damn.
I was a member of another INTP forum a few years ago before (pretty much randomly) going inactive. 2010? 2009? Something. I think it was INTP central or some such. No, I don't remember my username. It might have been linked to an email account that I (pretty much randomly) stopped using, hence my inability to find it in my email history; it is highly unlikely I would have deleted the registration email. While this quite possibly represents an absurd sentimental attachments to emails, it is far more likely to be simple organizational laziness.
I hope there's not anything in particular I am supposed to be including in this post, because that sounds like a bunch of bother best left to other threads (I'm looking at you, questionnaire thread). Yes, I did just address a forum thread as a sentient life form. No, I don't know where I'm going with this.
Back on topic--and we'll see how well that holds up--I believe I am supposed to be discussing myself. At the time of this posting, I am nearing my 29th complete year at approximately 347.3 months. I did not include extra days from leap years in this calculation, nor could I actually be bothered to calculate it beyond a rough approximation. My posting style will now change dramatically as paragraphs bring out my tendencies for tangential rambling. Don't hold me to that.
I like cats. I have 2, currently.
I have a roommate as of the time of this posting. I am reasonably certain he is ISTP. I like him, too; he cleans up his own excrement and contributes money towards bills, thus freeing up my personal assets. A significant portion of these assets go towards funding his never-ending stream of projects. These projects have a tendency to become mine as well, as his ideas are usually respectable and sometimes profitable. Besides, someone has to properly research while the house reeks of solder and cut metal (as if either of us could actually be arsed to take such things to the perfectly usable garage).
I do computery and networky things. Presently, I do so in a call center as my form of regular employment. It is possible I am typing this post from said place of employment while listening to J.S. Bach's various organ works.
As one might infer from the previous comment, I am fond of music (in a multitude of forms). I fancy myself a musician, and have various guitars and other instruments I play far too irregularly.
I am physically male and identify as such.
Colorado is pretty. I am presently contemplating searching it for various shiny things; I hear they are quite abundant. The actual value of said shiny things is irrelevant. I just want some cool rocks I can stick on my desk and stop caring about in a week.
I have a whole host of typical INTP interests, including but not limited to: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, computers, electronics, music, linguistics, and I'm tired of trying to extrapolate this so I'll summarize this with "and about 1,000 other things I read about somewhere."
At some point I will likely have an avatar, or perhaps not. I hope it's not obligatory.
My Bach playlist ended, so I need to figure out what I feel like listening to next. I'll end this post on that note as it is distracting me from that task (and the spice must flow). It was far longer than I intended, anyhow.
Shamelessly copy-pasted from another related forum I registered on this morning as well, because fuck typing another welcome post again. Aside from this paragraph; typing it was sadly mandatory to explain that I typed it, and why.
