Yes. If you can visualize a pyramid shape made out of copper tubing and its large enough to fit over your sleeping space with you inside, then set the intention that the pyramid gives you absolute protective shield so that you create a super safe space to be in that space, and do it every night, it may take some visualizing skills and imagining feeling skills of feeling safe in your dreams and mind. Or, a meditation tape that you fall asleep to.

Another thing to try is those crystal sleep masks. I'll post a sample soon.

Also, the big picture is that the earth is always changing and you guide things best by imagining exactly the end result you want, if you want it to rain, don't 'want' it, imagine the feeling of being wet and mud sloshing and feeling grateful for it, same with sleep, imagine feeling fully rested, whole, and safe and thankful.

But also ask yourself, is there something in your environment that you need to change? Are mirrors facing you, are there beams overhead, remove mirrors, move the bed so the door isn't looking directly on you as you sleep, declutter, move if you feel you need to, etc.

If you want your room or home to be free of negative energy, or even spirits if you sense them, put selenite in each window sill, put obsidian chips in each corner of the room, open doors and windows clap loudly and sage the space. (Burn sage and walk around the walls of the house in a clockwise direction with the sage, saying all spirits must leave now, out, out, out. Ring a bell in different areas of the house and if it sounds more muted in some areas, keep ringing in that area and asking for ONLY JOYFUL energy in that space to remain. Get a spritzer (plant sprayer) fill with water and sea salt and charge the water with blessings and spray it in the room or area to bless the space.

If you remember the biblical thing about ask and ye shall receive, it is not complete. It is missing a lot of other information. See what it was meant to say below:

Do you mean a little control or little control? And why? I find liquid melatonin will give a deeper sleep with very memorable dreams where I deep enough asleep that I cannot control what happens in them. It's not a prescription drug. Don't take with alcohol or sleep meds.

Relatively, I have a lot of control over things.

Objectively, well, we can only do an approximation of that

Are we talking about going to sleep or lucid dreaming?

To go to sleep I let my imagine being a corpse on the forest floor rotting away, or in the desert sand desiccating and turning to dust, or a sandcastle on the beach being worn away by the waves. There's a barrier between your consciousness and subconsciousness, like the A.T. field in Evangelion, you are the barrier, the barrier is your sense of self, going to sleep is the process of releasing that barrier. You know its working when you're losing focus, that's the point you're suppose to lose focus, let your imagination wander unfettered, don't fear the void, fall into it, become the void.

As for lucid dreaming you'll need to create a residual self image, don't be afraid to dream big, imagine you're a wizard or a dragon or a superhero, personally I went with my own version of the T-1000. Daydream about being your dream self and when you're dreaming you'll naturally assume the role, I used to have lots of nightmares, then I became the nightmare. After dismembering whatever figment of my imagination was foolish enough to attack me I'd be self aware enough to realize I'm in a dream and if I didn't get too excited I'd get to have fun with that.

Oh, for lucid dreams, read Stephen Laberge Lucid Dreaming book or follow Charlie Morley on facebook or youtube https://www.facebook.com/charliemorleyluciddreaming

Get a bag of dried tamarind pods (in the Mexican food section often). Then try making Tamarind Agua Fresca, it breaks down the crystalization around the pituitary gland to give better access to intuitive and dreams. Brocolli, Almonds, Salmon too. Something like a raw brocolli crunch salad with slivered almonds for example.

Wait you want little illusion of control in dreams, or you want to gain little illusion of control?
And since dreams are illusions is having control over them a illusion?

Most dreams I have are really blurry, I had few dreams that were more crystalized in process.

Most dreams I experience are outside of my control.

I had about a handful of dreams in life where I had even little control.

Most dreams I had were horrible nightmares.
Many were complete nonsense. Like they weren't even nightmares because you just did not know what was happening at all.
Really modern art type of thing.

Kind of like you think you understand something, but not sure you do type of dreams.

I had few dreams were I had some modicum of control. Like a flying dream, where if I struggled enough I could fly, but I had to really will my self into, but I never make it.
lol

I mean I have that one mantra thread, doesn't really help that much though. It just chills me out for a while but I think my brain self corrects or something. I don't know that is just how it seems
