As the title says, how frequently you want to post something or start a thread on this site, but after 5 minutes you're too lazy to login and decide it is a waste of time to start a thread ...

All the time. Like starting a thread taking 10 minutes to write it all then deciding it's pointless. Even this post seems kinda of pointless but it gives me an excuse for posting. Or there's been times where I have written paragraphs to just have me accidentally exit out which makes me more lazy to post.

Quite frequently. On some level I feel like I have something to add in every goddamn thread but if I lose focus for even a second I forget my initial thought in my fractal thought pattern and shrug it off and surf on.

Very frequently, I'll sometimes write out multiple paragraphs in response and then decide that whatever conversation would ensue isn't worth my time.

I've been more apathetic the last couple years when it comes to forums. It begins to feel like a game where the reset button keeps getting hit everytime you get near the ending.

It depends. Sometimes I go through phases when I don't even want to post, but find myself doing so anyway. Other times, I'll see a thread, want to contribute, and think "I don't have time to do this justice, I'll get to it later" and forget. Just as often, I craft a response, think, "fuck it", and throw it away.

wow, i almost offered you a brick wall earlier but was overwhelmed with laze

Funny, for me it's always consideration of what's interesting to others, along with desire to curb the crystallization of my megalomaniac image (as if that were still possible), that prevents me from posting.

I just wrote out something quite long for this thread then deleted it because re-reading it bored me to tears. Now I am posting this, which isn't long enough to be boring.

To answer your question, a lot.

For me it`s more of the opposite. I often don`t want to post, but do it anyway. It`s often hard to miss the opportunity to add my input, if I think that it`s relevant or of any value, be it humorous or what have you. If it makes me feel good, I post, but sometimes I think that I post too much. I don`t really have anyone to talk to in real life about the topics that interest me so I might tend to overcompensate in that regard with the amount of time I spend on forums and chat rooms, and the longer I look at people`s posts on a certain topic the more tempted I am to contribute my own two cents if there`s anything at all that hasn`t been said.

I like forums because many people contribute objective facts and then offer their subjective opinion, and I too look at those facts and form my own opinion. But I guess I tend to contribute an opinion more when I disagree with the majority opinion than when everyone`s more or less on the same page, because I find it more important that there be an alternate opinion out there than if everyone were to 100% agree on everything and pat each-others` backs. That`s not to say that I ever look for conflicts, I prefer harmony (or as close to harmony as can be reached) if it can be achieved in fairness and with common sense (but never at the expense thereof.)

There is probably a bunch of people who started writing a response to this thread but gave up (I got close to it myself).

I can't decide whether I should just let my words fly freely, or if I should make sure they are to some standard. Where I place that standard restricts how many times I will, actually, speak -Post?- up. Give me liberty or give me well-placed wording!

Yea quite a bit.

I usually type a few paragraphs before thinking, 'and why would these people want to know?!' And then deleting it.. often in place for nothing at all, or something shorter and less personal.

I'd maintain my conspiracy and occult threads a bit better if I had the conviction to be 'proper' all the time.. Elsewhere I'm given staff privledges to construct my threads... I can't handle having a 24 hour window to work with in editing stuff, takes me 24 hours to realise where I'm going with something, and how I should be doing it.

I do post as much as I do.. cuz if I'm invested in something I'll put in the effort to maintain it, and even nudge it in the direction I want it to see it go.

As often as I peruse the forum.Sometimes I post. Most times I don't. I thought about this post over an hour ago, but went off and did something else instead. I would think solitude makes a big difference in activity with all of us.

I'll refrain if I think I'll be trolling too obviously. Not worth getting banned over.

At least 50% of the time. I post more often from work because I'm more bored.

Somewhere around 50% of the posts I actually post I wish I hadn't, too.

Like most of this post...why am I posting these last 3 sentences instead of reading something interesting?

All the time. Just wanted to create a thread but stopped myself from doing so since it'd probably turn out to be something I'd regret doing.

Too often...but then I realise how much time it would take and the effort to put the words down and convince myself that I don't really need to state my opinion, nobody reads the shit anyways
