Hi. My name is Jared, I'm 17 years old, I live in New York and I am an INTP. My hobbies are hiking, watching movies, researching 'useless' information, and snowboarding.

I never knew who I was or what I was, until about an hour ago when I took a personality quiz and then read a couple of INTP profiles. From there I found this forum and began reading the "you know you're an INTP when.." and after about 30 true smiles, the feeling of 'being alone' was gone. I honestly don't remember the last time I felt joy like this.

So many walls are being smashed in my head and everything is being reorganized. My palms aren't as sweaty as usual and I can't wait to begin reading everything on this forum.

I remember the wall-smashing, what a great feeling that is. It's a liberating feeling to smash all the myths and misconceptions you've formed about yourself, or let others form of you. To finally understand what makes your own mind tick, to finally know the real you. yes... I remember that feeling well.

I'm actually new here myself, but I can tell you that this place is great! Think of the best deep forum conversations you've had in your life, (assuming there are some, if not, prepare yourself for a treat!) and then imagine that you could take part in 3 of them at any given time. That's what this place is like, though my description might be understating it just a bit.
