Hi,

After months of procrastination (which I'm sure some if not most of you are familiar with) I decided to finally register, so I can actually talk with you all instead of just lurking around.

A little about me:

I'm 20 and live in Kansas, currently going to school and work at a retirement home, a somewhat odd job I'd say for a typical INTP, but nonetheless it is a paycheck. I found out I was an INTP probably about half a year ago, when I met someone who was absolutely fascinated with the subject of MBTI, and subsequently got me interested in it as well, after some conversations with this new acquaintance, I decided to take a couple tests and found INTP to fit me best.

I have to say it was a relief to find out that some things that I thought of as peculiarities and eccentricities in my own personality were things that other people experienced/thought. I remember being younger thinking that something was terribly wrong with me, and would never show my actual self to lots of people, because my opinions and beliefs on a lot things were, and still are, quite different from those held by the majority. So its nice to find a place where people are a bit more open minded to new ideas. (You won't much of this where I grew up in south east Kansas.)

Interests/Hobbies: I love learning new languages, reading, travelling, playing music (bass player), and lots more, couldn't name them all off, worked 12 hours today, pretty tired.

Anyways, greetings and salutations, nice to be here. :)

Hello little wo/man.

I too u c d to work at an odd place- a laundry.... thingie. But I learned a great deal about creativity and efficiency which has certainly benefited me later. Now I'm studying science thingies.

But enough about me, how about you?

Do you fantasize about the ideal soceity? Or do you like baseball? Rainy days? Long walks on the beach?

Fantasizing about the ideal society? Oh occasionally, I really find the Venus project rather interesting, I like reading about alternative economic models and such. Pretty interesting stuff. Implementation would be chaotic though, I imagine.

Hate baseball.

Rainy days are okay, so are beach walks. :)
