Just wanted to introduce myself. Recently I have been taking a lot of MBTI tests and each time I get the INTP type. Are there any other artists here on the forum? I'm guessing there is a bunch of science geeks, which is pretty cool. If I was interested in science I'd be more into studying animal behavior or geography. But yeah, been lurking on this forum for a couple days. Decided to join on in!

I'd freak out, and probably join a faction to restore the Internet.

Professional cloud-gazer. I do see the appeal of trolling people as a non-humorous clown though.

I'm a violinist, it's a very technical instrument. I also enjoy gaming and as a hobby I write world-building for this fantasy epic that I think about in my spare time. It's quite the distraction!

That's awesome I've never seriously tried to take up a musical instrument, but it seems like the violin would require a lot of precise coordination. What kind of world are you creating (if I may ask)? Do you think you might implement your creation in the upcoming virtual reality platform? (I'm sure you've heard of the Oculus Rift.. exciting that they're releasing next year, isn't it!)

Writer. Retired journalist. Plenty of arts folks, a couple of forum members bring in their artistry from time to time. But there's military folks, a couple of authoritarians, quite a few contrarians, and computer nerds too plentiful to count. I include "gamers" as artists, too, I guess.

It's a medieval fantasy world based on North America and pre-colonial America. I would love to see it as a setting for a TES-type open-world rpg. Care to inform me on the Oculus Rift? It rings a bell but I can't seem to remember.

So I looked up this oculus rift and I don't think it's something I'd ever consider buying.

I see.. I wonder why? :0 True it's not near to full immersion, but I think it's the gateway into a whole new level of gaming.

btw, I hope you someday see your world realized as an rpg. Fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres.

I would get a cat in a heartbeat. They're easier to handle than dogs, but something about the way a dog is always happy to see you really gets me. Dogs are a pain though.
