Does such a thing exist?

are quarks fundamental?

or have we simply not found out yet what quarks are made of?

is this a question which is impossible to answer?

i think it is impossible to answer, the best we can do is keep observing and theorizing

This is one of the problems I think most about. This and Zeno's paradox.

I think we'll more likely run into observational limits before we find a truly 'fundamental' particle. From that standpoint, I think it is impossible to answer and we won't ever know.
That said, doesn't mean we can't better understand the workings of 'macro' systems.

Wouldn't one be more surprised to actually run into that wall? Think about that.

The question is inherently linked to the question of "how its possible to know of knowing everything", in my mind. The paradox basically is the fact that even if you think you know everything, there could be something you don't know, and hence why you're not aware of it. The solution I believe is predictability. If you can predict everything related to a system with 100% accuracy then you know everything that exists within, and affects, said system. There could be something outside of the system but it wouldn't be of any relevance to the system. The fundamental/s of reality, as they are, will probably be the last there will be to know.

You cannot prove that something is a fundemental partical because you cannot provide evidence that nothing exists before it, you can only provide evidence that something exists before it. 'Nothing' itself has no effect on its enviroment in order to test it's existence because by definition it doesn't exist.

The most likely assumption is that there is no fundamental partical and limits, beginnings and ends are just fairy tale creations of the human mind. Everything thus far in the physical reality has no end or beginning just a different form.

i think that there is just some arbitrary particle which is 100% fundamental, but it would be impossible to know if it is fundamental or not
